We came to Monroe to get our truck serviced at Smiley’s and while we were in the waiting room we met a very friendly local who recommended us to Jeno’s for some good food. We decided to try it out and I’m so happy we did!! The prices were reasonable, portions were huge, and delicious! My husband got

perfect little mom and pop shop from the 70s. Authentic. Small town. Greasy spoon. Mom and pop. American Italian If that’s even a thing I do it really well. Who would’ve thought of spare ribs on spaghetti. They did.

Recent update: Still very good. In business since 1970, and not much has changed. 70s style Italian/pizza joint. Cash only. Food is typical for the era, and very well done. Met a friend here to catch up over breakfast. We both got the basics- eggs over easy with sausage patty and hash browns, coffee. Super yummy toasted sandwiches but old school service without a smile. Worth a try if you've never been there. The bar is pretty cool and straight outta the 70s. Definitely check it out!

I used to go here when I was a teenager. I now live in Arlington, and I'm 60 years old. I still make the trip to Monroe just to eat there! This place has consistently had the best pizza in the world!!!! 😋
