Excellent dishes that somehow manage to upstage the gorgeous oceanfront setting. My scallops were perfectly cooked, and the lobster pasta was excellent. Be prepared—they don’t skimp on the portions here. We ate on the outdoor, covered deck and enjoyed a gorgeous panoramic view of the ocean along with our meal. Skip dessert—the choices are nothing special.
What can I say? The experience was totally wonderful as we haven’t been here for many years. Reservations worked like clockwork, seating, and service were top notch. Outdoor dining was wonderful. And the service and the food cannot be beat.
The food is amazing everytime I come here. Drinks by the fire pit on the water is the perfect vibe. Highly recommend

Amazing place. You have to go! It was pricey but I have seen more expensive. Not bad price wise. The food was superb. Staff was attentive and quick. Drinks were top notch. El Bandito I recommend. Bread was out of this world. All the fish was good, had the Halibut and the Branzino. Dessert was small but delectable. I recommend this place very much. Great views, Gurney's is beautiful. Best spot in the ocean. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!
I absolutely love this restaurant and everything that they offer. I cannot begin to describe how amazing the food tasted and how well it was prepared and presented to us. The staff is also very quick to tend to whatever you need. It is a really hard choice to decide on what you are going to order at this place. Everything on this menu is fantastic and it is impossible to make a bad decision. I only have good things to say about this place, so I highly recommend you try it for yourself!
Cant begin to explain how delicious the food was here. It was hard to even limit yourself when choosing from the menu, everything on there looked amazing. Definitely a great spot for dinner, the vibe was awesome, the service was impeccable. This is definitely going to be a reapeat when I'm in the area again.
The food, service and atmosphere at Scarpetta Beach are incredible. The individuals at the valet are particularly kind. We were able to get drinks at their outdoor patio area which had fire pits and a DJ/dancing. The drinks were the best cocktails we had in Montauk all weekend (specifically their espresso martinis). The server was kind, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and had excellent recommendations. Although pricey, everything is 100% worth the money you spend. This is an amazing place to go if you are looking for an upscale night out in Montauk.
Wonderful appertizer and *perfect* pasta dishes. Scallop was very well made. Amazing view over the beach and very romantic for sunset dining. Attentive service and the staff tried their best to accommodate. Resort staff are nice and courteous. Families and large group were well accommodated. Recommend to take the table on the Deck portion, much much nicer atmosphere than indoor, although the decor indoor is beautiful too. One complaint though is the black cod entree- maybe just an off night but the fish is rather tasteless.
Amazing experience at Scarpetta in Montauk! Set outside on the deck with a great view of the ocean. We ordered cocktails with our appetizers and got a bottle of wine with our dinner. For dinner we got the lobster pasta and the seafood pasta! Great quality ingredients and seafood was delicious!
Service is excellent, food tastes great no matter what you get, however the portions are very very small. You can order almost the entire menu with 4 people and still be able to eat more. Everything on the menu tastes great.

this Hamptons Outpost of the Scarpetta group is everything you'd expect it to be if you've ever been to a Scarpetta or to Gurney's previously. The service is a tentative without being overbearing, the quality and presentation and taste of the foods is excellent. I had the vegetable and farro risotto, followed by the braised short rib and bone marrow agnolotti. The agnolotti might look like a small portion (about 15 almond size cubes), but the portion is absolutely perfect. Do not be tempted to fill your fork with more than one pocket at a time. The pasta melts in your mouth, the short rib and marrow add to the luxurious mouthfeel and Rich taste. we also had the roasted beets salad with vegetables and ricotta cream followed by the lobster tagliatelle. The tagliatelle was in a smooth lobster sauce and garnished on top with plenty of recognizable Lobster. for dessert we had the valrhona chocolate cake.
This is the tale of 2 nights 2 different experiences. We had a 2-night stay at the beautiful Gurney's. Our first evening at this stunning restaurant, we had Enrique as our waitperson and he was all about "no-can-do", the 2nd night we were lucky to have the sweet and attentive Tiffany as our "can-do" server. My mom has major dietary restrictions so everything we were told couldn't be customized the 1st night, with Tiffany, she made it happen for us the 2nd night, thankfully! Everything was great and the Halibut and Cod were cooked to perfection. The chicken was prepared exactly how my mom requested, she enjoyed it immensely. Our selections did not scream Italian, they were quite light, with subtle references...assuming overall leanings towards the northern region, which was a welcome culinary experience.
We came here for Memorial Day weekend for dinner. Originally the reservation was for two. However, a few hours before the reservation we needed to change it to six, and they accommodated us even though they were fully committed for the weekend! Not only were they flexible, but the food, drinks, and atmosphere were amazing! 5+ stars
So good. Food was perfect - exactly like the scarpetta in nyc. Ambiance was unreal with the views from turkeys beach Club looking over the ocean. The food came out fast and often. Approx $100 a head with drinks, dessert, entree, app, tax, tip. We're staying in southampton and ventured here (hour away). Was well worth it. Will be back. Thanks
