Great place for pizza lovers. Our first time here and we were delighted to see so many vegetarian and vegan pizza options. Lots of options from salads to pizza & other sides. Very neat, clean friendly staff , quick service, great ambience. V ordered slices for 3 diff vegetarian options and plain cheese. Removing 1 star for the reason plain cheese became hard after it cooled down that my kids couldn't finish it. Other than that good place for pizza lovers.

3rd time around and still probably the best pizza hands down I have tried in California! The line can get long, BUT it moves quickly. Slices are larger than normal, so come with an appetite. They do have salad options fresh from the surrounding farming, and they're an excellent side choice to any pizza and if you buy a slice with a salad you get a free drink. Thank you, Pizza My Heart, for offering vegan options as well, although it was disappointing to know you had to purchase a whole pizza to get the vegan cheese options. Please consider also selling them by the slice! Many flavor options to peek everyone's taste buds. We recently tried their cinnabomb (I think is what it's called) and it was pretty good. The first time they made it for us, it was nothing but gooey dough! 🤣🤢 We took it back to the front counter, and they remade it without push back, apologized, and refunded us our money as well! So this place continues to prove they are the pizza spot to match and beat! Our girls love this spot as well. One daughter loves the Hawaiian style, the other is straight pepperoni (she said it was a tad oily for her, but that seems standard with pepperoni), I had the veggie (Excellent), hubby had pepperoni as well and he scarfed it down (not too oily for him). Our son did not come with us but we took home some slices for him. Unfortunately, he was really looking forward to trying it this time but was totally let down from our hype. This only means that Pizza My Heart is best fresh out of the oven and not reheated in the microwave. I told him to try the air fryer for a few minutes next time and see if that changes his experience. If you are heading to Santa Cruz or to Monterey Beach areas don't miss out on some good local pizza! It will change your life!!!!😅 Also, their lemonade is fantastic. If you like t-shirts they sell their swag for $8 and comes with a free pizza slice! Score! Pizza My Heart you have our hearts😍❤️
We’ve been going to Pizza my heart for many years. Our first trip was when we were visiting Capitola and ordered slices from the stand there. Now that we eat vegetarian diet they have great options including vegan cheese. We can hardly tell the difference between that and a regular cheese pizza. They have a New York style pizza with big thin slices. On this trip we ordered a pepperoni pizza to bring back for our son. If you love New York style thin crust pizza, you will love pizza my heart. As a bonus, they have the Coca-Cola freestyle machine!

The pizza.. amazing! Especially the Hawaiian! Best we have ever had! WE were very disappointed to find out, no more Frisbees! We specifically went there to get our dogs a Frisbee from our trip! Apparently, they are getting rid of plastic and these were a thing of the past. SO SO SAD!
Fast service, friendly wait staff, and bathrooms were clean! Pizza was very flavorful 😋 LOVE the new 2023 Monterey logo on the blue shirt! Got one for our memory of our 22nd wedding anniversary ❤️
Pizza My Heart is a family, fun pizza dining experience! Grab a souvenir Pizza My Heart shirt and slice of pizza for $7-8! Grab a slice and salad, recieve a free drink! They have all the favorites like cheese, pepperoni, hawaiin, etc. They also have PM❤️ original combinations! Add a salad, breadsticks or dessert!
Although the pizza we picked up took quite a bit longer than promised it was definitely worth the wait! Great place to grab a slice (Sbarro style) or grab a pie to go. Try the one with all the roasted garlic on it!
Best Pizza In Monterey. They also serve several tap beers. Great.
This place was absolutely amazing and what I've been looking for when I want a cheese pizza. I've been searching around for a place that serves thin sliced pizza that holds it self up. Looking for that New York feel as much as possible. We ordered a large cheese and asked them to cut it into 6 slices. Man they didn't disappoint. I would make the 4 hour drive just to have it again.
First time ever having their food and it was very good, got a few slices and a salad to go 2 big sir slices and a slice of pepperoni and all were top notch, crust was delightful crispy and cracky but also with just the right amount of chewiness. Ranch dressing for salad and dipping was amazing loved the garlickyness of it was a great compliment to both salad and pizza
Best dang gluten free wood fired pizza I’ve ever had. The flavor pairings are off the chain! No soggy crusts and pizza was still piping hot after we brought it back. Will definitely be going back again during our trip here in Monterey!
Pizza girl who does by the slice was kicking butt.... I also ordered a small combo pizza wich took 54 min to get... and they did not follow instructions for extra crispy.... Hmmmm
First time coming here pizza was awesome one of the best pizza me and my family has ever had definitely coming back when we come back to Monterey ca!
The pizza here is absolutely amazing. There is a huge selection of types of slices that you can choose from. There are also a variety of salads to pick from also, they sell t-shirts cheap. Sometimes it gets crowded so be prepared for that.

Flavors are tasty and delightful. My only complaint is that my slice was a wee bit on the toasty side, very hard crust. Other than that, yum!

The pizza was good but service not good. I placed the order online. I went there and got there early. I told the young man (where male, with beard). I told him I had placed t he order online and gave him my name. He said I see your order let me see how long. He came back and told me should be ready in 20 minutes. I asked him if I could wait inside at the table and he yes.
Now as I am sitting all the other folks around him are cleaning up or getting ready to close up. Now I know about closing time but and wanting to just get out to go relax. I get I might be the last customer BUT when you are waiting and the same guy is looking at you...and then your order comes out and you see it in the area with two other pick up orders and the same guy is looking at you like you are not there...and yes I gave a 20% tip...and not until I walked up to the order because my online order said pick up time is 1058 PM when I approached the same guy and I said, "Hello but is my oder ready now?" He looked at me looked over at the box looked at the name and said, " ya here you go." no I am sorry I did not know it came out and had been sitting here for a long time."
Now before you say why did you not just go over to him and ask is that my order because I did not know for sure and could not see the names on the boxes.
And yes the pizza was cold...but when you are hungry cold pizza is good too.

Not the best pizza, but it was delicious. Friendly staff and welcoming layout to the restaurant. Would definitely go here again when possible.
Taking a vacation here in Monterey first time trying Pizza My Heart, not bad at all, actually fairly tasty. Casual low-key place with a lot of surf memorabilia on the walls. Slices are a little bit larger than usual which is good, slice of pepperoni and a drink with refills is $7, not too bad.
