Talk about pride of ownership. This cozy restaurant bakes it’s delicious bread and pastries on daily basis which are must tries. The menu offers a great selection of breakfast options. Loved their coffee. Friendly service and would highly recommend you to visit on your next trip to Monterey. Love seeing restaurant owners implementing their wonderful business ideas and creativity in their business, no matter the size or location. We will definitely revisit this wonderful restaurant again. So glad we tried it.

There is a long wait on a Saturday morning, but it's worth it. The process is to sign up on a clipboard and wait outside. They call the parties out loud verbally. The drip coffee was okay but the latte was humongous and more tasty. The latte is served in a cereal bowl so be prepared for a huge serving. Food wise, you can't go wrong with anything but I had a blackberry apple pancake on special and it was amazing.

Really delicious breakfast with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Refreshing when most brunch places are heavy on eggs and the only other option is sweet. Breakfast tacos were good and made better by the salsa. As a Southern girl, I had to try the biscuits and gravy and they did a great take on it. The fresh baked goods also look delicious. Overall a wonderful breakfast spot.

In town for Rennsport 7 and staying across the street, we were just thrilled to find this spot for breakfast. I had the potato skillet with roasted tofu and a chocolate muffin. The skillet was delicious, perfect potatoes with crispy edges, a great section of vegetables and a thick slice of bread. The coffee was good, the muffin was decadent, moist and still warm. We also had the multi-grain waffle with berry compote and that was delicious as well. What a perfect breakfast spot!

This is a locals place, off the beaten path. Made from scratch orders and decent portion sizes are hallmarks of this cafe. I ate here for breakfast, and all their eggs are organic. Their chorizo is house made, is NOT greasy and is full of flavors. I recommend the cafe scramble with chorizo. A word of warning, their lattes should be classified as soups (see picture, hydro flask included in picture for reference) This is a cozy establishment, so I recommend arriving early, but it is worth it.

A yummy & cozy breakfast spot for if you’re a local or just visiting/passing through. The menu has a vast choice of breakfast options, including a vegan section. The food is delicious ! (I recommend the Sicilian scramble, and their fruit selection is the best I’ve encountered yet. It’s a different arrangement compared to your traditional berries & pineapple, however I’m sure they change it out depending on seasons). The staff are very attentive & are so welcoming no matter who you are. I definitely recommend this spot to any considering it, and will most likely stop here again in the future.

We loved this place so much, we ate here 4 days in a row on our 5 day visit! Being vegan and finding vegan options can be tough, but we had no issues here. The homemade bread is to die for- and the bowl of Latte was a fun surprise. Great staff, lovely owner, amazing food, and atmosphere. I just wish I lived closer! Definitely on my "will always go back" list.

Delicious food with a huge menu to choose from. Ordered BLAT bowl and it was fantastic—they did not skimp on the avo! Also tried the maple bacon biscuit and it was to die for. Service was excellent. Ambiance is laid back. Definitely will be going back and highly recommend for sandwich/salad/burger!

Great sandwiches, salads, and baked goods! Our first visit here for lunch was a great choice. Located close to Casa Munras Hotel & Spa.

I like the variety of their menu. This isn't a place where the food comes out of a box, everything is thought out and prepared by a chef who knows what they are doing. I had a question about the ingredients and they took the time to tell me how the item was prepared. Their lattes are also tasty.

Me, my boyfriend and his sister are traveling from the east coast on a road trip and stopped here for breakfast before our Whale watch. Breakfast was amazing, the general eggs and toast and everything with it seemed so fresh. Service was very friendly and speedy. We ate our food and got out of here within 45 minutes. I had the best vanilla Chai latte I've ever had at this place. I highly recommend. Overall amazing.

I have been to this cafe several times while visiting Monterey (from Sonoma County) and have always been impressed by the high level of service and genuine love that is felt in the food and drink. Today we had the most amazing cappuccinos, made by Axel - B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L foam 😍 Martin graced us with his presence and very attentive service. To eat, we ordered an array of muffins, lemon, blueberry and chocolate; warmed up and equally delicious. Everything is made in house and from locally sourced organic ingredients. What a treat!

I would like to thank Martin for his wonderful customer service and his help in finding cool places to visit! It was my first time in Monterey and the food was delicious and his service was great! Props to him. I wish more employees were just like him! He was friendly and helpful! I hope the owner sees this. He deserves a raise! I really don't think the vibe there would be the same without him. Thanks again Martin! 😁👍

Busy little restaurant in Monterey. Staff are so friendly and helpful and the portions are very generous. I had gluten free buttermilk pancakes which were beautifully light and fluffy and were accompanied by a slightly sharp berry compote which balanced the sweetness perfectly. Thoroughly recommend.

So I got admit I was a little disappointed with the quality of the coffee I ordered a latte and it just wasn’t that good maybe I ordered the wrong Beverage from their menu but I must say the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Sicilian scramble and it was amazing the bread is baked in house it was extremely good. The breakfast took a while to come out but they were busy and it was well worth the wait. The people sitting next to me were having a baked good commenting on how delicious it was which peaked my curiosity so when I went to pay the bill I asked for a recommendation on a baked good and was told to get the berry scone. I did and on the drive back to Los Angeles I decided to eat it and it was absolutely amazing. Definitely go to place for me next time I’m in Monterey. The staff was very friendly and accommodating
