The food was good but the portion size as per the price was very less. It is very accessible and located at a nice place. Overall it’s a good restaurant. Although I would say servers were not so friendly. Some food items (paneer items) were not good at all.

Good Indian food. Limited drinks options. Mild to medium spice level. Decent portion size. Seafood isn’t that great. Tandoori Chicken, must try.

We went with a friend's family. We ordered vegetarian samosa, pakora, vegetable biriyani, chicken curry, white rice, raita and chai. We loved the samosa and chai. They were very good. The pakora was soggy. I wouldn't recommend the vegetable biriyani but the raita was good. Our friends said the chicken dish wasn't good either.

It is a little baffling to read the poor reviews. We ordered seven dishes and they were yum. The seafood platter was a big hit, as was the vegetarian briyani. The kids locked the crab cakes and butter chicken. The garlic Naan was fresh and crispy. The staff was friendly. They could use an extra person, the pandemic is likely not helping with hiring.

Had an excellent dinner. Butter chicken, Dahl and Tandoori chicken were all excellent. Taj lager is great.

If you had a long cold day and want warm delicious and flavorful food, come to this place. We had the yellow daal and the Rogan Josh lamb curry with sides of rice and garlic naan. Food came quickly and packed with flavors. It really warms you up. Service and atmosphere were also really great!

The food was amazing! I may have been apprehensive about Indian food before because I didn't understand my spice (as opposed to heat/piquancy) tolerance - but I came here on a whim during a date and we were completely blown away by perfect food and stellar service. We ordered 9 dishes between the two of us and not a bite was left at the end of our meal. Definitely worth every penny and then some. 10/10 will come again!!

Looking for a quiet spot to catch lunch on Cannery Row? Here's an option! There's lots of options on the menu and a relatively large selection of drinks and wines! Service was fast and the food came out fresh! I ordered the aloo gobi mild and it come out with no spice which is ok, but I would have liked a little bit of kick to it. The naan is alright, and I felt like the saffron rice was a touch dry.

For a person who has been eating Indian food for over 10 years this one so far is the best found it 3 years ago. The flavor of that chicken curry they make is second to none

Delicious, I love Indian food and this did not disappoint. It wasn't busy when we went but our waiter was friendly and attentive. Big menu with lots of vegetarian options. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food well worth the price. Went there for take out. It was during lunch time so asked for buffet take out. People out there were very friendly and accommodating. Onion pakora was my favorite. OMG so crispy and tasty. Must try out place. Since it’s in the cannery row it goes without saying there is no parking. They also have another branch in Abrego St. I also really liked the way in which they decorated the place. Nicely stacked wine bottles

This place was delicious. We got take out because my son was ready for a nap and we were worried he might have a meltdown. The atmosphere was classy and the place was extremely clean. Would definitely eat here again.
