Monterey has tons of options when it comes to meals but when craving some authentic Mexican food, this a must. Plenty of parking and a wonderful staff playing classic Spanish songs makes you feel right at home. I arrived shortly after they opened so my food came quickly but they had quite a few take
A smaller restaurant with good food choices for brunch. They make their own chips and tortillas. The tortillas have a satisfying crunch and flavor. The flautas take a bit of extra time so plan ahead.
Came here to eat while doing laundry next door. Best decision! Chips and salsa are freshly made and something you won't find at most places. The food was good all around and very friendly service! Definitely give this place a try!
Traditional, great mexican food at reasonable prices. Our favorite! Small dining area. Our favorites are a combo plates with Chile Rellenos, Chicken or Cheese Enchiladas and Shredded Beef Taco. The rice and beans are fantastic!!
Yummy Mexican restaurant with delicious chips and salsa and awesome breakfast dishes. Recommend the huevos rancheros, chili verde omelette, and the pancakes. Friendly and attentive service too.

Salsa has lots of flavor without being spicy. It paired really well with the home made chips.

I had the chicken enchiladas and my boyfriend had the chile verde we both agree that our dinners were authentic mexican food. The rice was amazing the chips were made in house and the salsa had vreat flavor. They also have a great adult drinks. Great local find
We had them do some catering for a school beach cleanup, everyone loved the food. Our family has also eaten there several times. Friendly people and a clean restaurant in a nice neighborhood, easy parking and really convenient. Can’t ask for more from a small Mexican restaurant!

I ordered beef soup very well stocked chunks of beef vegetables the only thing the broth a little bit on the watery side, but still Fair taste comes with rice but a little too heavy on the garlic it needs to be balanced and your choice of tortillas corn or flour the service delightful three ladies w
We got take out, first time to experience this restaurant. All our meals were delicious, with generous portions and authentic flavors! And the salsa was the best!!! We will be back and make recommendations to our friends.
