This is a Spanish restaurant serving authentic delicious food. Try to get a reservation at their patio and enjoy the fountain, the food and the sangria. The jamon Serrano was so tender. The queso fundido, pulpo de la casa and mariscos de la casa were accompanied by bread for dipping. The churrasco had a delicious salsa verde spiked with a little cumin. We got the natilla custard and churros con chocolate for dessert. What a finish!
First time eating here. Beautiful atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. The food so delicious and was served quick. Everything we ordered was mouthwatering good. Make sure to make room for dessert. Definitely coming back and recommending to family and friends.
Great date spot!! The outdoor area has heaters and the ambiance is super cute. You feel like you are in Europe. The meatballs and paella were amazing. The churros y chocolate were also very tasty.
Casa Cordoba definitely feels like a hole in the wall in the small village of Montrose. I've lived my entire adolescent and adult life in Montrose, and yet I've never even thought about eating at Casa Cordoba, until now, that is.
I entered the front gate and was transported to the city of Cordoba, Spain. Walking on the Spanish terracotta tiles towards my table, I looked up and noticed the various and colorful Spanish flags hanging from the walls, the vines that draped over the walls, as well as the beautiful fountain towards the back of the dining area.
My family and I ordered the Tortilla de la Casa, Mariscos de la Casa, Pasta Espanola con Mariscos, Albondigas, and the Pula de la Casa. All of the food tasted great but the highlights of the night for me was definitely the Pasta Espanola con Mariscos and the Mariscos de la Casa. Both dishes were flavored perfectly but I do wish they gave us more bread so that I could soak up all the juices.
The service wasn't the best, but I could also tell that they were pretty understaffed considering how busy it was. Our server was very helpful and gave us great recommendations as well.
I would highly recommend making a reservation through their website as well. While I was waiting to speak to the hostess, several groups in front of me were trying to do walk-ins and all of them had to wait up to an hour. Don't take the risk and make a reservation if you can!
I'm sad I wasn't able to try their Paellas but hopefully I'll be back soon!
At 7 on Thursday, the patio was filled. We made reservations on the website + answering machine, but the restaurant didn't have a record. They were able to seat us and we had a delightful meal. Excellent service, knowledgeable but not intrusive. Diners around us were enjoying a sequence of tapas but we had appetizers & an entree. I started with an excellent Amontillado sherry. When my beefsteak arrived, I wanted a fruity red wine so my server brought 3 samples.
The charming patio, Spanish guitar, the buzz of conversation, good food and drink, produced a European experience of sensory satisfaction.
Authentic delicious Spanish food the best we could find in all Southern California. Beautiful ambiance. The owner Genie fell in love with Spain and brought it here. We went to Spain and loved it. This food and beautiful decor takes us back every time. Exceptional service every time.
Really good food. A great place for a nice date night. The portions are a nice size you can fill yourself up with a few appetizers, drinks, and dessert. Make sure to make a reservation.
Our daughter took my husband for his 70 birthday for dinner, liked the patio sitting, it was cozy and romantic, sorry for a child that cry most of our stay, but that is not the restaurant fault. Food was Spanish style, we had 2 different Paellas, and nice dessert too.
Sangria was tasty and delicious.
