Review Applebee's - Moore

This was the pick for my mom's birthday dinner and it was a good one. She had the smaller ribs portion and I had their prime rib French dip sandwich, which was excellent. Samantha was a great waiter. My mom was happy, and that's all that really matters!

Usually when we go we have had a hard time trying to get in because they were short staffed. (Which I completely understand, since I work at a restaurant myself ) But we were able to get in this time. We had Chicken Wonton Tacos and Waffle Nachos and they were really delicious. Hopefully, when we are in Moore we will be able to stop in again.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place and the staff. Everyone always has a smile on their faces and always friendly. Food is ALWAYS VERY DELICIOUS!! GREAT place to go for a lil family dinner

Hi all, we didn't find the food to be tasty. There are specials but if the flavor isn't there...The lemonade was so sour. My husband couldn't chew the pork riblet because of grisel. The waitress was very nice, but when I asked her if the lemonade was always that sour, she said, I've never had it. Then 5 mins later she asked if everything tasted ok???? I wasn't about to bring up the food, if she couldn't fix the drink. They do have a $5 frozen mixed drink special though, make sure you have a designated driver, don't want anyone getting hurt now!

Stopped in late and the food impressed us. Bourbon Chicken super delicious. Seasoned well. Comes with Shrimp (I have those to husband) Food was Super Hot. We also had the Fiesta Lime Chicken with rice. Completely different from the Bourbon Chicken but good In its own right. Lots of line flavor for sure. Chips and spinach dip (Great) Service was great. Atmosphere was relaxed. Based off this experience, we will be back.

My aunt took me for a birthday lunch. I had the chicken and shrimp smothered with a side of potatoes. She had their burger. Both were very eye pleasing and taste magnificent. I really enjoyed my meal. Place was clean, calm, inviting. Easy to see location, easy parking. My meal was 12.99 should have been 25. So they have great value for their food, so you can enjoy on a budget. I recommend eating here.

I honestly wish I could give 0 or even negative stars on this because I have never received such unfriendly and just plain negligent service in my life. I walked in with 3 adults and 3 children and was immediately seated in a 4 person booth so as soon as drinks and 1 appetizer hit the table we were bumping elbows and the table was already over crowded. When they started to bring out the food we asked to be moved to a larger table as there was no way we were going to fit all the food on the table as it was and were answered with an attitude and "let me go ask my manager". When we were finally moved to the family sized booth and were eating we asked for a proper amount of dipping sauces for the meals chosen and weren't even told that we were being charged for them. When we payed we never received a receipt so when we called to ask for the price and breakdown because I keep track of my expenses the manager was just as unfriendly as the staff. Definitely not a family place and my kids are well behaved and not noisy so no reason for a family to be treated differently. Not assuming that was the problem but honestly not worth the money or the 40 total minutes you will sit just waiting for food when you're 1 out of 2 tables occupied in the whole restaurant

I've always encountered friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drinks here. They have a decent variety to choose from unless you're eating a specific diet as usual, but they did include a small variety of options for many different diets. The plate I ate had consistent and good food. Nothing to right home about but certainly worth eating more than once.

The place where dreams die.. I have never been somewhere where no one is smiling. A. Divorce court may be a happier place. The waitresses spent more time sweeping than attending to our table. No one smiled the entire time not to mention it's taken long enough to eat 2 meals and we are still sitting here starving. Fail. Major fail Applebees.

It's a total blast if you go when Josh is Bartending!!! The other bartenders are terrible but the food is good and the wait staff is hit or miss.

We just finished some of the worst restaurant food we have ever eaten. The spinach artichoke dip was thin, runny and cold. The French fries tasted like they were made yesterday and the chicken strips looked like something you'd expect to find in a hot box in a convenience store. Yes, it really was that bad!

Good Food and Service. After reading some of the reviews I started to go someplace else tonight. I did go to Applebees in Moore and was real surprised to find a packed place. The food and service could not have been better. I had shrimp, side salad and we shared chips and queso. All of our food was very good and the service was great. When we left the place, a number of people were waiting for a table. I will go there again.

YES MAAAA'M GUY. The new "YES MA'AM" to everything guy HAS to go! He is so full of it and annoying! <br/><br/>This food is improving, getting better then it was there for awhile, but for crying out loud, why can't we get some waitstaff and bartenders who act like they even care about serving customers? The ones there now stand around talking about their customers where other customers can hear and they constantly run in and out the back door where the "To Go" area is, when no one is even waiting for food out there! What are they doing out there???<br/><br/>Also, there is usually no one at the hostess stand and it takes forever for the somber faced girl wrapping the silverware to notice there is anyone waiting to be seated!<br/><br/>Convenient for us to go to but please, fix it!

Food and service were excellent...wait staff was friendly and very attentive.

Garlic Sirloin. I had the garlic seven ounce sirloin. The steak was appeared to be smaller than the regular sirloin. I expected to have more flavor but it was dry. The sides included a portabella mushroom and red potatoes. The sides had a decent flavor but the portions were small. I would normally order the seven ounce sirloin, but it is certainly not worth paying the extra money for the garlic sirloin.

Rude waiter (Sam L.) I guess didn't think the tip on table at 20% wasn't enough, so he decided to take out an additional tip on the card we paid with. The 39% rating is a PERFECT reflection on this place. Couldn't even substitute a cheaper appetizer on 2 for $20... Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Slow Service. As all the other comments attest, unless you're there during a lunch rush, service is abysmally slow. Wait staff, including bar tenders, hang out in the kitchen and don't refill drinks often or ask you about desert as they're serving entrees, seemingly to minimize their trips out of the kitchen.<br/><br/>I've been here many evenings, with the same service story. Sometimes it's worth it when I have hankering for a good 2 for $20 value. Usually it's not.

Food: great. Waitstaff: Immature. My fiance and I used to not like Applebee's, but we gave it another shot last year and started going again because I believe the menu, cleanliness and food prep was improved. We stopped going a month ago, however. Usually, the waitstaff is amazing, we tip very well, because they are accommodating, attentive, helpful, friendly and everything. Which is rare for a restaurant who hires high school teens...Anyway, our waitress this time had her priorities mixed up! She was, of course, an attractive young lady, which is probably why the young men like her. The only ones seated at her section were the two of us, and then a single young man, about the waitresses age. We soon figured out (while watching her flirt with the boy and ignore us) that the two were a couple, and he had come in to see her. That might have been acceptable and maybe even cute, but she paid so much attention to him that we only got one refill the whole time. ONE. We ordered an appetizer, and waited for about 15 minutes. During this time, she alternated between flirting with her "thug" boyfriend, the hostess, and, I assume, their group of friends who had decided to come hangout in the front waiting area. When we saw her finally go to the kitchen, she immediately returned with our queso. The queso had a solid film on it, which happens when cheese isn't served immediately and sits out for several minutes. On top of that it was cold. We didn't say anything because we weren't going to put it above her to spit in the replacement queso. We watched her allow her boyfriend to "help" her with transactions at the little register in the corner, which I thought was entirely inappropriate. He was handling customer credit cards. I got so fed up that before our food was brought out I went outside and called the restaurant manager. I described our waitress and the manager's reaction was "OHHH I know who you're talking about. That is definitely a problem" and then she sincerely apoligized and offered our meal free. Leading me to believe this girl has probably received complaints before. If she didn't get fired, she at least got written up, because she disappeared into the back for about 10 minutes and came back extremely attentive and helpful. I imagine she got chewed out.

Slow and inpatient waitress. Food taste like it come out of a can. Small portioned sides.

I came here for my birthday. It was not busy. 9 occupied tables and half a dozen people at the bar, yes I counted. It took over ten minutes after we were seated before we saw our waitress to put in our drink orders. After finally receiving our drinks, our waitress clandestinely escaped with a busboy through the emergency exit. I couldn't make this up.

Rude waitstaff where sometimes the food is not very good. I have however enjoyed for the most part the food at this place. I will rate it as I liked it. Beware it is hit or miss

Took 15 minutes for bartender Steven to acknowledge us...he was rude and was talking bad about customers to his coworkers in front of us! Idiot!

Consistant. Applebee's is the same across the country. I do like the burgers there!

Bad service, was sat at a dirty table, food was fine, it was the service that will keep us from going back

To me its like t.v dinner. Some of there meals taste like they heated up a t.v dinner an put it ona plate. pass onthis place, but the service was good
