Family dinners out can be frustrating. If your family is anything like mine, you probably spend more time discussing where you're going to get dinner than you do in transit to your dinner. Fortunately, Morrilton residents have a better choice. The Morrilton Drive-Inn Restaurant has it all. It proudly proclaims some of its many specialties on the large sign above the door - "Bar-B-Que*Catfish*Burgers." Some have believed this means the restaurant offers a barbeque catfish burger. Well, not yet, but I bet if you asked for one the good folks behind the counter would oblige.
The modern-day equivalent to Alice's Restaurant. You really can get anything you want (excepting Alice) at the Morrilton Drive-Inn Restaurant. Burgers and burritos, salads and shakes, fried pies and fried pickles, chili and cheese omelets, this location a block off Interstate 40 is a great place to fuel up, especially with an indecisive crowd.

Their catfish is the best I've ever had!
Amazing burgers. One of the 3 best burgers I've ever eaten! I got the double jumbo cheeseburger, which was plenty big, but if you have a super appetite you can get the super double jumbo cheeseburger, which is supposedly 2 lbs of beef. It is HUGE.
Now, the burgers came out hot, fresh, and juicy. They had great flavor, cooked just right (no pink, but VERY juicy), and great texture. The cheese was tasty and complemented the burger, as did the mayo. All in all, a very very good burger. If you like burgers you have to come here to try these.
The fries were good and plentiful. Members of my party got tater tots and they were crispy on the outside and tender on the insider.
Other members of our party got the catfish and they enjoyed in thoroughly, even though I thought it was a but greasy, but tasty.
Service was great and our party of 8 got our food promptly. Overall, I'd rate this a 10/10 overall. Spectacular! So glad I tried it!!
This restaraunt is the best in town the food is homemade and fresh. The burgers vary in size all the way up to 3lb burgers!!!! The catfish is the best around and don't forget the BQ!!! The Morrilton Drive Inn Smokes Their Own Meat! Go down and try it yourself I garuntee you'll leave satisfied! They also have truck parking for all those drivers out there!
This place has great food. Just went there this past weekend and had the mesquite chicken with baked beans and coke slaw and it was good! Their fried green beans are to die for! Also they have good milkshakes and "cyclones" for dessert. Yum!
Really good food. Has truck parking. Great portions for the money. Ribs were nicely dry rubbed then perfectly cooked topped with a delicious sauce. Pulled pork sandwich was huge and moist. Will be stopping every time I can.
The best place in town. Savanah is the chef and she rocks! Best catfish plate I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The front staff were fabulous! Excellent customer service. Everyone was super nice and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The price ls are amazingly low for what you get.
You are missing out if you don't stop and enjoy some of the best home cooking you've ever had!!! The catfish is a must even if you're not a big fan you will become one here 🥰
First time eating here. A lot of the reviews about this place are mixed, most people love the food and some don’t. I have to say I really enjoyed the food. The burgers are good sized, the only down side is sides and everything else are separate. They do have a wide variety of different sandwiches and food they offer. The shakes are really delicious, definitely get a shake if you come here! I would have given 5 stars but I wasn’t that impressed with some of the staff. The prices also seem a little high but you can definitely tell the food is fresh. If you’re in the area you should give the Morrilton Drive Inn a try.
Nice family environment restaurant. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich with fries and my husband ordered the Catfish with fries and hushpuppies. Everything was really good, fresh and hot. Customer service is also great. Suggestions were offered with details of how the food is prepared. This was a quaint little spot, kinda like a mom and pop place. Also conveniently located off interstate.

Had the rib dinner and I have nothing to complain about!! Everything was good! The ribs, potato salad, baked beans, and fries were all prepared perfectly. I'm a fan!!
