This was our second visit to Chef Fredy’s and just as wonderful as the first! It’s great for celebrating, dinner with friends or a date night. The staff is warm, friendly & attentative. The food is out standing! I highly recommend the sea scallops appetizer and the brisket ravioli (the latter was a special) - absolutely delicious! Our top picks on the menu for this visit were the venison (so tender it melts!), the duck (prepared perfectly) and the halibut (so we’ll seasoned & complemented nicely with mushroom risotto). The perfect ending for me was the cappuccino creme brûlée but my husband raves about the stout brownie. You just can’t go wrong here! This is one that we will be back to again & again!

I hosted my wedding welcome party at Chef Fredy's and it exceeded all expectations. We needed space for 100 people and they let us reserve the entire restaurant. Both Nestor and Chef Freddy made it easy to plan and they helped me work within a budget. The venue is BYOB, so I assumed that I would drop off a bunch of beer and wine and people would serve themselves. Instead, Chef Fredy, Nestor and their staff made the rounds all night, serving people within seconds! I was blown away by the service.
My guests are still raving about the night. It was a rare combination of great food and service that kept everyone happy. Several people have told me they intend to come back when they are in the area.
I would highly recommend for a group party or a meal.
Last night we had my 50th Surprise party at Chef Freddy's. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Kudos to our waiter Alejandro, he was amazing! Thank you Chef Freddy's for a wonderful dining experience, we will definitely be back!
The food is spectacular as is the service. My only gripe is the menu is relatively small so there are always several additional specials. The waiter announces them to you once you're seated. So by the time he was done, I forgot most of them and I placed an order. When he told the table next to us the specials I remembered what I really wanted. Ugh. Please just have them written. No one cares about the staff remembering 8 specials.
Great place with amazing food. The waiter was slow getting to us, we even debated getting a dessert or getting the check as we didn't want to have to wait longer for the check. All in all we will be back....
Loved this restaurant! The specials and menu surpassed our expectations for New Year's Eve. Typically, moving guests in and out is a restaurant's goal, but we leisurely enjoyed our meal and dessert. There is a liquor store literally next door which is convenient for this BYOB. The liquor stores has an excellent wine selection too! I highly recommend Chef Fredy's for your next special meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and hope to return soon. Bravo!
I was a Chef Fredy's last year and it was excellent. This year it was, if it's possible, even better. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was divine. And the service was superior. I highly recommend eating at this jewel in Morristown. It was the best place to celebrate our son Jordan's birthday two years in a row!

Wow! What an exceptional experience. Everything I want in a restaurant. Great service, BYOB means I get to pay what I want for wine, diverse menu with generous portions and wonderful dessert options (all good, I swear) and to top it off, CLEAN BATHROOMS! Whoot Whoot!! Yeah that's important to me. The ambiance was lively yet our table felt private. All of the servers were super attentive but not overbearing. l can't wait to go back again and again and try more of the menu. The monk fish crab cake combo was so fresh and not overdone, just the right balance of flavors. Try the tropical bread pudding or the dulce de leche gelato or the raspberry chocolate mouse cake. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Chef Fredy!
I came to Fredy's actually expecting a good meal. I hadn't been there after their expansion, but heard only good things. Fredy's was beyond expectations. The selections were vast and diverse enough to satisfy any palate. My appetizer special was mussels and escargots in a clam broth. It was spectacular. For dinner, I enjoyed a New Zealand venison that was outstanding. My wife enjoyed her Mahi Mahi encrusted with crabmeat. This is not only the best restaurant in Morristown, but rates high out of any restaurant I've ever truly enjoyed. Prices were reasonable for what we ate, and the portions were more than sufficient. If you let Fredy's pass by, you'll miss an extraordinary dining experience!

Morristown Restaurant Week, so had their pre-fixe. One of our group had special dietary requirements and they accommodated these through all 3 courses without question. Service and food was first class and that they are BYO is wonderful. My first visit. I will go back!

Loved this restaurant. Beautiful decor, waiters are very knowledgeable and on top of their game. The food was fabulous. I felt as if I was a in a NYC restaurant. I will be back!
Upscale feel the moment you arrive. Staff makes you feel comfortable and they are very attentive. We started with goat cheese and fig ravioli which was superb. I had the Jambalaya and my date had the vegan plate. Both were excellent. Shared the coconut, banana, and pineapple bread pudding which was amazing. The sound level was a bit loud but manageable. We parked at the Dalton garage which was close and reasonably priced. This place is an excellent choice for a date night. Don't miss it.

Chef Freddy’s Table never disappoints! I have quite a few allergies (including celiac) and the staff was more than accommodating. Our waiter Gerardo, in addition to the chef, went above and beyond to make sure my allergies were taken seriously and catered to. We even went for restaurant week and ate from the prefix menu and they were STILL able to accommodate my allergies. Love this restaurant and I highly recommend (especially if you have allergies)!
Everything was amazing! The food was well priced and very very good. It takes a lot to impress an ex-chef but this place is definitely 5 stars. The service was great, the atmosphere was comfortable and cozy, great value and spectacular food. There's some interesting menu items like venison sirloin and ostrich. My venison was perfect. One thing to note is that this place is BYOB so bring your own beer, spirits or wine. I knew I was getting venison so I planned ahead and brought a nice pinot noir to pair with it. I feel bad eating octopus especially after watching My Octopus Teacher, but it's just so delicious, and this place served a great octopus appetizer. Definitely recommend this place!

My Wife and I were at Chef Fredy's Table for the 1st time tonight. I can tell you all, that it will not be the last time. We had 2 appetizers, the octopus and prosciutto wrapped shrimp. Our main entrees were the Chilean Sea Bass Special and the Jambalaya. Followed by the Key Lime Lime Pie and Cappuccino Creme Brulee. We shared everything. I have two words for both the Food and the Service; Perfect and Amazing. The Staff is Top Notch, Thank You. Kudos to The Chef. Great atmosphere as well. We will be back to try more greatness from your menu :)
The roasted chicken was exquisite the sauce was by far the best I’ve ever had . I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We had such a wonderful time having our wedding celebration at your restaurant. I cannot speak higher of the food, service, and experience planning with you. You run a wonderful restaurant, one which my husband and I have enjoyed so much over the last few years. I consider us so fortunate to have been able to host our party with you. The arrangement of the room was beyond our expectations. The circular shape made it easy for us to be near all of our guests. You thought of everything I overlooked and I would 1000% recommend you to anyone hosting an event.

Amazing date night! Impeccable service, quality food with exotic menu options and just an overall amazing vibe and ambiance. The service made me want to come back again and again and the food was just top notch. One of the best overall meals in a long time. Louis literally made our night fabulous- he memorized all the options and literally told us what to eat- he has a skill and is great at his craft. We will definitely visit again.
Great atmosphere. Delicios food and great service. Never had a server cater to our toddler the way ours did. Made a friend from the first word. Regret not asking our server's name. But he was awesome and our kids loved him... huge THANK YOU!! Made our Birthday that much more special..
Excellent service. Food was great! We enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal and all the selections were delicious!! Great ambience. Perfect for date night or girls night out. The only bad thing I would say (and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars) is that the tables weren't quite 6 feet apart. There was a large group next to us (about 9 ppl) and they were talking and laughing. Made me a bit nervous. They should space out the tables more especially with large groups.

What a wonderful experience - food, ambience exquisite. I’m pretty particular when it comes to restaurants and Freddy’s hit all the marks! Can’t wait to return. Delicious fresh crab cake with tons of lump crabmeat and a mushroom starter that was delicious! Don’t miss the bread pudding for desert and don’t let me forget it’s BYOB !
This restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area! It’s perfect for any special event. The menu online is limited, but they have so many specials! They had 4 seafood specials, a strip steak, filet mignon, a veal shank, and a tomahawk steak for two special! They really need to write them all down as I hate to keep asking the waiter how each dish is prepared. The first waiter we had didn’t want to take the time out to go over them all. I heard another waiter going over each and everyone with another table so I waved him down to go over them with us. We had the fruit salad and the goat cheese and fig raviolis as appetizers. The fruit was delicious and fresh, but the salad was dry! It needed more dressing. The goat cheese and fig filling to the ravioli appetizer was so good! For entrees we had the lamb chops and the Chilean sea bass. The lamb chops I asked for well done came out medium well. They were very good, but I ended up trading dishes as I like my meat cooked well done. The Chilean sea bass was delicious! It came over a mushroom risotto which was very good! We were very pleased with our portion sizes too. They gave a generous piece of Chilean sea bass and a nice amount of meat for the lamb chop dish. For desserts I had the peanut butter silk cake and a brownie. The peanut butter silk cake was so good! Unfortunately, the brownie was burnt to a crisp! It was to dry to even eat so I took a few bites and left it there. One thing I didn’t like upon entering was I was told to wear a mask walking to my table! There was only one other couple there dining 20 feet away! Why would I need to wear a mask when I’m walking to my table outside!?!? I’ll save politics for my Facebook! Overall, we really enjoyed most of our dishes, and the huge variety they had to offer. I recommend dining at Chef Fredy’s Table in Morristown!
Fantastic dinner. Every dish ordered was amazing. The calamari and tuna tartare were excellent. Best lamb chops I have ever had. Nice staff. Definitely a place you should try.
We went back to Chef Fredy’s table for a birthday celebration! The seafood paella is great! (First time trying the paella). We also ordered our fav - braised beef and lobster (again). For great measure, the filet mignon and lobster too! You cannot go wrong! Everything we tried taste amazing! The shrimp appetizers (shrimp tower and shrimp with sauce)… very happy we celebrated a birthday here at Chefs Fredy in addition to Fogo @ NYC!
We were traveling from North Jersey back home to South Jersey and I was Googling for restaurants along our route and I’m glad I came across this gem. First I like how the vestibule is closed off from the dining room. Wait staff were all upbeat and attentive. We enjoyed the Spanish Style Octopus appetizer. Our entrées were not rushed, were presented well and were both delicious. We had Seafood Paella and Veal Osso Buco with mushroom risotto which were both from the daily Specials. Chocolate Mousse was also exceptional.
