I hosted my bridal shower at Pisces Rising in their private dining room. We worked with Samantha Galloway to create a tailored menu and had about 20 people. It was a lovely event, the private space is key, you can bring your own decor and although it's on the 2nd level, there is an ADA elevator my grandma was able to use instead of going up stairs. My husband and I are both Pisces and love to be out on the water, this location was perfect. My mother in law did a fish theme with live gold fish as centerpieces. We were able to park in the back to load in/out decor which was key but guests must park elsewhere. Overall, we were very happy and would come back again for any private event. All praise for this place! Steak was great, not too cooked not too raw- this is very subjective opinion keep that in mind. Salmon stuffed with crab is absolutely delicious- first time trying and I enjoyed every bite! Service-impeccable, friendly and professional! Drinks are also great not gonna lie.
Absolutely great food! We had the Ribeye, Crab-stuffed salmon and Paradise Burger. Cooked to point, excellent meat. Attentive service!

Great location overlooking the lake with a sunset. Great service. Didn't eat, just had wine.
Terrific brunch with nice variety of choices. Went with brisket poutine (wish it had a bit more gravy) the beef was perfectly tender the fries nice n crispy, laid on bed of grits nice southern styled touch. The crab stuffed salmon was also delicious flaky and full of flavor. Lastly a piece of death by chocolate - raspberry chocolate layered cake. Definitely one of thee best desserts I’ve ever eaten. Don’t skip past it.
There’s a shady courtyard by the bar entrance and some spacious lake view seating on the outside deck. Nice friendly service and very clean facilities too!
Went there for a Westinghouse rehearsal dinner. Food and service was excellent. Cocktails were made very well. Great atmosphere and location on the lake.
This was a great restaurant. Food was good, drinks were good, and the service was good. I got a burger and my wife got the stuffed Salmon. We got the Cuban eggrolls as an appetizer and i washed it all down with a couple of beers. Careful on the mixed drink prices if you have a budget they are not listed andare kind of pricey...however they are fantastic if you are into craft drinks.
Dinner was simply delicious. I cannot remember the last time I ate everything on my plate, even hubby did. Our son's were full and brought home leftovers, which is unusual. The stuffed salmon with crab was moist and flaky. Hubby ate every bit of his juicy 1lb steak. The boys thoroughly enjoyed their steaks too. I highly recommend this restaurant. Four adults, four scrumptious meals. I'm trying to find an excuse to go again because it's a tad pricey. But excellent meals will be and I look forward to having a meal there again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really nice place, friendly staff. And the food was delicious, I had a steak that was great, and the leftover steak the next day was amazing. My wife had the shrimp and grits, and she loved them,and her leftovers were just as good if not better.. I will diffently drive over an hour again just to have dinner again here.

friendly service from Ellis our server. There was a live musician that added even more to this very positive experience! I went at night, so wasn't able to enjoy the nice views you'd see in the daytime. Highly recommend!
We came here last Thursday before heading back to Canada. We had a reservation as Thursdays are busy (you can only reserve seats indoors, the beautiful outdoor patio is first come first serve). The hostess pulled some strings and seated us by the window, and we were there for sunset, which was stunning! The food was great! Seafood was top notch as expected. It's pricey, but you also pay for the views!
Highly recommend eating here, especially if you can get on the patio.

Richie provided outstanding service to our large table of 22! We all pre-ordered our food and the shrimp and grits were bar far the best I have eaten! Richie handled our rowdy bunch with grace and we were really impressed with the entire experience! Thanks Richie!!
We stopped here with friends. 3/4 of us got the specials the grouper was amazing the scallops were delicious. The rice that both came with was just ok, but the proteins in both cases were cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
If you are in the area or with in reasonable driving distance I would recommend stopping in. It is in the expensive side of meals out but the food, service and atmosphere are certainly worth the price.
I've visited multiple times and the food is always good. Great history of the space and two excellent bar areas, a large bar outside and a very typical bar inside. They offer several custom drinks and have all day happy hour on Monday.
My most recent trip was a bit disappointing as we had a 6:30 reservation, arrived about 6:15 and were seated immediately. Appetizer took about 20 minutes to arrive, main course was about an hour after ordering. Food was good and no issues otherwise.
Edit: 5/27/22 Another moderately disappointing visit. They were short staffed so limited seating. We sat at the outdoor bar for an app and drink and had great service. Moved inside at about 20 minutes and it went south. Service was slow, crab and corn bisque was loaded with shell pieces and both mains came out lukewarm.
Every every time I go to Mount Dora, about 3 times a year, I must go to Pisces Rising. This trip, my dinner was above and beyond.
My friend took me for my birthday and it was the best. We had the catch of the day, halibut that melted in your mouth with grilled asparagus and a seafood salad. Everything was fantastic. Thank you for consistently being wonderful.
