Dined at Sol yesterday morning...the shrimp and grits were delicious...I finally had to push back the plate. The crispy fried coating on the grits block and the creamy rich sauce melted in my mouth. I ordered the regular Bloody Mary also and loved the bacon strip along with all the other items dressing it up. The sweet, salty, crushed bacon glass rimming Completed this drink. Other diners meals looked equally good. I would highly recommend the shrimp and grits - even if you don't like grits.
We drive from Myrtle Beach to enjoy this restaurant.
Food is amazing, cocktails are excellent, staff is wonderful & seem to enjoy working there.
I recommend SOL to anyone that comes into town or is traveling to Charleston.

Always perfect. Great menu. Service is always perfect. Food is always perfect. Most consistent place I may have ever eaten. Bravo. I've been there early, late, weekdays, weekends. Anyone can find something for their taste.
We had a work cocktail hour at Sol with delicious appetizers and wonderful service. The comfy patio seating was just right for our large group to socialize. I also took home entrees for my family for dinner, and the pork tacos, chicken enchiladas and bison enchiladas were all so tasty!! Thank you Sol!!!
Always enjoy going to Sol. It's our go to lunch spot, and we try to have something different each time. Huevos rancheros for brunch, tuna burger, margarita shrimp tacos, and the firecrackers are my favorite so far!
We came to Charleston to have some medical stuff done at MUSC. Had such a weird afternoon and ended up at a different Hotel than originally planned. Holiday Inn Express North East Mount Pleasant. When you walk out the front door you can walk straight over to SOL. Fantastic service. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Wonderful place to end a long day.
Atmosphere is very nice. Menu was great. Food was delicious. Our server, Brook, was awesome! Will definitely go again soon.

Very unique dining experience. The food was amazing. There are plenty of drink options. I had the Texas BBQ burger, and it was cooked exactly how I ordered it. The menu had several options, which is great because we have picky eaters. There is something for everyone. Jason was our server, and he made our experience even better. He was very friendly, prompt, and made our experience memorable. If you're looking for something different, I highly recommend checking out this place.
Big menu! Good food. Friendly staff. Easy parking and not too busy. The only thing I didn’t like was the street corn. I most enjoyed the mocktails and street corn soup.

If you go here get a steak dish! The steak dishes are consistently delicious, and we find ourselves coming back regularly for the amazing flavors.
Recently, we had the pleasure of using their catering services for a party, and it was an absolute hit! Meghan, who assisted us throughout the process, made everything seamless and enjoyable. Her professionalism and attention to detail really stood out, and it contributed to the overall positive experience.
We opted for one of their taco parties with the margarita mix, and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. The food was fantastic and the margaritas were a big hit among our guests
What impressed us most was the affordability of the catering package. We felt we got excellent value for the price, and it made our decision to choose this place for catering even more satisfying.

Stopped for dinner. Jennifer T was our server. Talk about a great person! She was attentive, knowledgeable and funny. My wife had the adobo shrimp Quesadilla and I had the Buffalo burger and fries. Both very, very good but not overly large. They had a varied beer on tap menu as well. My wife also liked her margarita.

Sol is located next to the hotel we are staying at. We saw that they were kid friendly so we decided to give it a shot. We were very glad we did. Our children (13 & 6) loved their meals as did my husband and I. The prices were excellent and they had several options of meals. The menu was easy to read. Our waiter was great. Food came fast, hot, and looked amazing. They have outdoor and indoor dining. They also have live music on certain nights.
Sat outside on a great Fourth of July evening, service was fast and spontaneous. The food was also good, the atmosphere was great. Did I mention the street corn appetizer❔could of had 3 more and been my main corse; 1st time here and will return again. The El Diablo drink was amazing [see below] I like a spicy drink and topped off with the jalapeño, yes ….
Oh my word, is this food so, so delicious! I had the Marinated Steak Tacos a little small, but really good. The grilled Sweet Potatoes were out of this world. The rest of the family had the Tuna Lollipops, Bang-Bang Shrimp, Grilled Salmon, Chicken Chimichanga and Carne Asada Fries. Everyone throughly enjoyed each bite. The staff we super friendly and attentive . You have to try it.
Sol is a pretty restaurant that has both indoor and covered outdoor seating. The people who work there are very nice and service was fast. The fresh guacamole was very tasty and well-balanced. A little tomato and fresh cilantro would have been nice in it. Tortilla chips were warm, crisp and light - just right. The al pastor nachos were really tasty. The combination of flavors was excellent. The one critique was that they should have cut the cheese sauce in half. It eventually overwhelmed the rest of the yummy stuff and made about half of the chips soggy.
They make all their margaritas with fresh juice, and while we didn't have one, they look like they have some really great combinations. We plan to go back and try some!

SOL was conveniently located next to our hotel and we were able to walk over. The restruarant is very large, so you don’t feel like you are crammed in. The size also helps with the noise level. The place was packed and we could still hear our conversation. The food selection is small, but there is enough variety that you can find something you like. I enjoyed the Beef Enchiladas. The red sauce was really good. The staff was also very friendly and they had a decent kids menu for the kids. Surprisingly they also had a banana pudding. Not the kind your Grandma would make, but it was not bad!
This Tex-Mex is great. The adult drinks are good(Holiday Mule), the service is awesome, and the food is delicious. I had the chicken chimichanga for dinner, just wow, it has a wonderful flavor. My appetizer was the carne asada fries, it was mouth watering.
Another amazing dinner and a fabulous server named Jason! I had their twist on shrimp and grits where the grits were made into a fritter! The wife has Tuna Lollipops which are the hidden gem of the menu and street corn that was unbelievable! Jason was a wonderful host and interacted with our 11 year old daughter and made her feel included. I am almost becoming overwhelmed with each experience we have in our new home of Mount Pleasant!
Just get in the car and come here! I Love this place so much. Their Margs always taste super fresh and delicious. I love their watermelon and Mezcalito marg as well as veggie quesadillas, salmon, chips and salsa and so much more ! katie behind the bar is so sweet and awesome! Makes a mean marg :)
Was in town on vacation. Just experienced SOL for the 1st time and it was delicious and friendly. Great menu with flavor,color and variety. Try the "Firecrackers" appetizers. Rice bowls are a must. Carne Asada Steak Rice Bowl. Food was great but our server "Katie" took bartending to the 5 star level for being polite and informative towards the menu. Multitasking she was natural at. I recommend anyone looking for great customer service to try SOL and while there, try anything on the menu.. Excellent atmosphere.
Food was decent. Not a fan of their “take” on a quessadilla.. its not a quesadilla and its hard to eat as it falls apart and doesnt come with any salsas, guac, sour cream or anything.. our server did not walk by our table enough, had to get other server to ask ours for bill
