Locally owned !!!!! to start off with. What a breath of fresh air in food !! Everything was absolutely amazing and delicious. For starters the seafood dip was delicious , the seafood is local and fresh off the Docks! The Hush Puppies were delicious with the Butter. Lily was amazing waitress she acte
We came here while visiting and had a great experience! Food was great! Cotton, our server was attentive and friendly! Recommend to anyone in the area.
There are 3 people in particular at this quaint bar on the creek that I thoroughly enjoy. Alex, a server and bartender with a contagious laugh and a jovial vibe. Look for the tallest guy in there! Next is Emma, the sweetest, cutest bartender you’ve ever met. She’s extremely attentive and won’t have
Cannot recommend this place enough! Great food, dog and kid friendly (does appear to be more of a spot for adults) that does not require reservations! Finally, something great and uncomplicated when it comes to going out to dinner with the family and dogs in Charleston! We’re here on vacation and i
The food is definitely delicious! The only issue I've had a couple of times is my chicken being hot and fresh, and the rest of my food is cold. For those who live here and aren't just tourists, the magic of Shelter shouldn't be missed. Are there some things on the menu that aren't great? Yeah. The bog bowl comes to mind. But then, there are things that really are great. The brunch bog is really wonderful. And the prices are reasonable and a
The Shelter is one of my favorite places to go in the Mount Pleasant area. My first time there during a weekday lunch break, our server, Meg greeted us at the door immediately and she ended up being our server. Her positive attitude and work ethic was amazing and made my experience at The Shelter an
Wasn't a fan of the mustard based BBQ sauce for the low country rolls. Shrimp and grits were good but a lot of grits for only a few shrimp and pieces of sausage. The bouncer was very helpful though asking the age of my daughter and advising karaoke would be starting soon which helped us make the b
