I'm thrilled to share my recent dining experience at this restaurant. The interior is a masterpiece, a must-see that adds to the overall charm. The short ribs and mashed potatoes were exceptional, satisfying both my taste buds and appetite. Generous serving sizes ensured we left full and content. The service was top-notch, making the entire visit truly enjoyable. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit!
We went during low season and we loved it. We had a spectacular view of the creek. We had a yummy Belgium waffle and Eggs Benedict. The iced coffees hit the spot. We will definitely go back again.
Great variety of food! Our family had the fried pickles, shrimp tempura roll, and smoked and fried chicken. We also ordered the blackberry smash cocktails. All were delicious and we really enjoyed the outdoor covered balcony. Beautiful view! This is also a great place for kids. This restaurant even has the “extra tall” high chairs for the high top tables. A special shout-out to the hostess who squeezed us in without a dinner reservation. Highly recommend making a reservation if you want to avoid a long wait.
I do not give out 5 star ratings often, but this place deserves one.
I have been recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and am unable to have gluten. I found this restaurant when looking for gluten free things to eat. I booked with Resy and added that I have Celiac disease. The chef came out to our table and explained how they only use corn starch and rice flour in their recipes, so there is no risk to cross contamination. They also use Tamari, instead of traditional soy sauce, which does not contain gluten.
For apps, we had the Korean Fried wings - 5/5 no pics, because I was so excited to eat them. Bang Bang shrimp was also 5/5 and I do not have pics.
For dinner - My husband got the Korean Fried Chicken - 4/5 just needed a bit more seasoning in the chicken, but all in all was delicious. I got the SPICY TUNA & FRESH CRAB ROLL - 5/5 perfectly rolled, enough meat in the middle and on top, not overly rolled with rice. We split the Pork Belly Fried Rice - 4/5 I thought it was delicious, but husband said there was bit of a burnt/smoke taste to it that he wasn't a fan of.
We sat inside with a window view that over looked the creek which was really nice.
Definitely one of my favorite meals out of all of our travels.
Yummy loaded fries appetizer, and my wife enjoyed the shrimp and corn chowder (with biscuit). Steak frites, smoked and fried chicken, and scallops and smoked pork belly entrees were good. Enjoyed the eclectic music and view of Shem Creek. Service was friendly and good, though a tad slow. Will done here again.
Food was delicious at a good price.
This place has an excellent view. I'm not talking trash about the seafood restaurant next door by any means, they have a good view as well... But this restaurant has a better indoor view lol. (They also have outdoor seating as well)
The food was just amazing, the service was good and quick and the decor is very very nice. I would recommend blindly and will DEFINITELY come back!!!
Food and service was amazing !!! Oysters and cocktails were absolutely delicious. Manager Tyler was extremely welcoming and kind, checked on the table multiple times. My server Abby was very knowledgeable about the menu , very attentive and sweet. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Charleston. Oh and the view makes you not want to leave!
Great fast service and yummy food. We planned to go to Crab House but got sucked in by the wonderful smells coming from this restaurant. Shrimp and grits were good and the po boy was a hit. The fries and the sides were really good. Overall a great experience.
Saturday had a reservation for 10:15 and got seated early. Excellent Mimosa’s Peach, Raspberry and Blackberry. Get the Cinnamon Bun is Awesome. Breakfast was great eggs, grits, waffles. The interior of the restaurant is very rustic. Owners are Redsox Fans!
