The black bean burger is OFF THE CHAIN. So so so so good. I'm a vegetarian and it's the best I've ever had
I don't love the draft beer collection because I don't drink IPA
I just saw an old review about their cheesestakes and that guy needs his head examined. It is by far the best i have had and Lord knows i've had my share. It might not have had a million dollar remodeling but i'm glad... Because it translates to the best affordable food on Coleman. Cant speak highly enough about the staff there. Been going there often now and they treat you like family which is rare these days if you have a social life.
True hospitality. Amazing staff! Always a great time. The best onion rings I have ever had in my life. Many ingredients are locally acquired. Craft beer on tap.-always a plus! Live music all the time. Super cool spot!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Southern Bar & Grill in Mt Pleasant, SC, and I must say it was an amazing experience. The burger I had was hands down the best I've had in a long time. The patty was juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight!
But what truly made my visit memorable was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, treating me like family. Don, our bar tender was super friendly! Made a great Old Fashion! Apple pie shots were so good. All the food is made from scratch and the onion rings!!!!!! THE BEST EVER!
Stopped in for cheesesteaks last night for the first time. Definitely seems like more of a regulars type of bar to me. The bartender was friendly and got our orders in quickly. It honestly didn’t take long at all the food came up. I was a little concerned by the size when it came out as it wasn’t a huge Philly cheesesteak but it had tons of flavor and was rich. We had the onion rings as well. Everything was great. We were in and out of there in no time, full and happy.
Hank was awesome!! Very friendly and GREAT DRINKS!! Started with potatoes skins, I got Chicken wings and fries, and my girlfriend got Barbacuba and onion rings. All was great, food, drinks and service!! Also a bonus cause I got to put money on the wall (which is one of my favorite things to do!)

It's a nice bar and the food is really good. I had a single cheese burger and it was simple and delicious. My wife had a breakfast pizza and it was very good.
My first time visiting The Southern Bar & Grill. Great service!!! Nice bartenders!!! One of the "Crew", Mike, asked folks at the bar if anyone wanted a pancake....I had a shot or two of Espolon and graciously said yes. What a nice gesture on his part! Great "On the House" pancake! I'll certainly be back soon!!!!
We came in from out of town and saw the reviews and wanted to try it out. The bartender was super nice and quick. We only ordered chicken tenders to go but let me tell you. They were magical. As my friend said, “they put the tender in chicken tender” the perfect crisp, great seasoned fried, and really good honey mustard. It was our first meal of the trip and we still haven’t stopped talking about how they were!
A surprise right in our backyard. Was the wife and I anniversary night. Quick get away. Turned out the Southern had a great blue grass picking that was amazing. Loved it was comprised of the locals, and the owner. Great time. Great atmosphere.

I resisted going there because from the outside it didn't look like much but man fantastic Philly cheesesteak and they had a terrific bluegrass band on a Tuesday night apparently they are there every week. I can't wait to go back. The only constructive criticism I have is they went real heavy on the salt on the fries and the onion rings for everyone at my table so maybe just hold off a little bit on that that's an easy fix :-)
Badass spot for a burger and ice cold beer. Late night and awesome for service industry employees and night owls alike. PBR on draft and decent price shots. Great for locals and tourist. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick breakfast while on vacation, we felt like we quickly turned into "regulars", that we ended, up staying a lot longer!! I also recommend getting a taste or two of the Apple Pie!
