We wandered into Benny Palmettos thinking we were just grabbing a couple of casual slices, but to our surprise, we were handed what seemed like pizza continents! Our cheese slice was so massive, we felt like we should’ve negotiated a lease before diving in. That garlic mushroom slice? It felt like we’d stumbled into a vast fungi kingdom on a doughy expanse. We half-joked about looking for tiny gnomes setting up camp under those mushroom caps. The jalapeño cheddar slice had us bracing for a roller coaster of flavors, with spicy peaks and cheesy valleys. Truly a ride for our taste buds! But oh, the Dr. Evil slice? We half-expected it to demand a ransom before letting us take a bite. If couples are looking for a pizza adventure to bond over, Benny’s is the place! Just be prepared to share, because trust us, one slice is enough for two! 😉🍕

At first, I thought that this place was not great, until the very nice guy at the counter asked, "have you been here before?" and that surprised me because after he said that, he showed the true size of the food and they were MASSIVE for us (we're from Arizona) so we didn't expect anything like this. The whole thing was great, food, service, and atmosphere! Totally would recommend! 10/10

Just went for the first time and loved it. The slices truly are as big as your head! The pepperoni was great but someone else in our group got the Philly and that was the winner! The glass bottle drinks have a great retro diner vibe. Service was wonderful. Will be back with a big appetite.

Pizza are huge, 😋😋😋 good taste. Each 🍕 slice really big. I like! Slice from $5-$8, whole pizza $36-$45 and have combos.

Calling all pizza enthusiasts and daredevil appetites! If you’re on a quest for a larger-than-life pizza experience, then Bennys Pizza is your holy grail, complete with a mouthwatering twist. Brace yourselves for the colossal 28-inch pizza that’ll make even Godzilla’s jaws drop! Picture this: You walk into Bennys Pizza, and your eyes widen as you witness the epic creation before you. It’s like a saucy, cheesy universe on a mission to satisfy your wildest cravings. But let’s talk about the taste, shall we? The flavors on this pizza are like a symphony of deliciousness, orchestrated by the culinary maestros at Bennys. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside, while maintaining that pillowy softness on the inside, as if it had discovered the secret to achieving world peace. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room (or should I say, the dinosaur?): the 28-inch diameter. This pizza is so huge that it might as well come with its own zip code. It could probably double as a personal trampoline, or a portable shield against any rogue vegetables approaching your plate. Forget about “slices” – you’ll be dealing with full-fledged pizza continents that would put the mapmakers to shame. But here’s the fun part: tackling this behemoth of a pizza requires a strategy. You could channel your inner lumberjack and go for the classic slice-and-conquer method. Or, you could recruit an entire squad of pizza enthusiasts to help you devour it. Just imagine the look on their faces when they witness the sheer glory of Bennys Pizza! You might even make it to the legends of pizza folklore. So, if you’re ready to embark on a culinary adventure of epic proportions, Bennys Pizza is waiting to welcome you with open dough. It’s where gastronomy meets acrobatics, and where flavor reigns supreme. Go ahead, take a slice (or ten) of this larger-than-life pizza wonderland, and join the league of brave pizza conquerors. Cheers to Bennys, where every bite is a delicious step towards pizza immortality!

Very yummy pizza, we are a little sus that the sausage pizza slice we got caused food poisoning but we don't know for sure. Service was fine but the building and seats were definitely in disrepair. The look of the place is eclectic, and the grunge of it was great, but the table and chairs didn't seem like a design choice just really poor upkeep.

Our child lost his tooth while eating pizza and the staff was so happy for him and even got him a sauce cup for the tooth

Pizza is delicious, if you prefer more of a Chicago style over a New York style. I just enjoy eating pizza so either kind is fine with me. Sauce is good and the overall taste is definitely worth a try. I picked up the pizza so I can't say much on atmosphere

I helped build some of the walls inside this place and never got the chance to eat here but I did stop by on my way to work and grab the biggest slice of pepperoni pizza I've ever seen. And no lie the crust was perfect because it wasn't thick and it wasn't too thin. Everyone was being very safe and covid-friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone because five bucks will get you a slice of pizza and it's really good. there are a couple good restaurants in this location but if you're feeling something and the pizza food then this is your place to go there is no inside seating so everything is outside but it's a definitely low country food place. thank you guys I'll be by again to eat another Pizza

Had the huge 28 inch pizza, it's a pricey pie but can feed many people or a few people for a few days! Definitely worth it in that regard.

Good pizza! My bf and I ordered 2 slices each because they served by the slice; surely they'd be normal sized, right? Turns out they're gigantic slices. If you're ravenously hungry like I was, do yourself a favor and only get 1 slice. It'll fill you up. We are stuffed to the brim at the time of writing this review!

The 30" pizza is new York style perfect!!!! The cheese bread is thick a.d hearty. The place is tiny. Get it to go or be prepared to sit family style. ... but NOT on the tables of the bar next store. Draft beer is at the neighboring bar. Can beer only at Benny's. We were informed clearly by the staff at Benny's of this.

Pizza was good, didn’t take too long. Service was decent but not amazing or anything. Love that they had Jones soda! Hubby loved the curry pork and I was happy with my pepperoni. Slices are massive. I feel like it’s reasonable pricing, and I thought it was nice that they have kids cut style available so it’s easier to manage eating such a large slice.

Pizza was delicious! My daughter and I stopped in and each got a slice...we could have split a slice because they were so big! The only negative I have is the girl that waited on us. She was kind of on the rude side, and it was clearly she didn't like her job, or she was just having a bad day. But the pizza was delicious, and we'll be back!
