Visiting the Charleston area...tried Baroni's on a whim...BEST pizza I have had in a restaurant! Loved the sauce and the sausage, but loved the crust the most!
Fantastic sausage pizza! One of the best I've had. Perfect crust, perfect homemade sauce. I could kick myself for not going before. Move over Andolini's.

Very Good, But........ We've been there twice and the food was fantastic both times. Pizza is over the top good, very generous toppings and cheese, and the sauce and crust are wonderful. Last time friend got a gyros and it was superb and huge!
Now for the "but" - I understand that it's primarily a pizza place, but I really dislike sitting in a restaurant that is quiet except for 3 tv's with cnn, msnbc, fox, or something like that on. Unless it's some huge sporting event, either turn them off or at least put them on a music channel. If I want to watch the news while I eat supper I'll do it at home!!
The other "but" is - I despise seeing employees sitting or standing in front of a restaurant (or business) with their uniform on and smoking! Our sever was outside smoking the entire time we were there. His service to us was good, except when I had to get up for another beer, but it is not appetizing to see and know your server has been smoking the entire time you are there!
Will I go back? Without question. And, I'll spread the word about how great the food is. The owners should just do a little tweaking and it will be right on track!

Loved It!. I go to the one in west ashley all the time but this time i happened to be in mount p same as west ashley perfect pizza perfect staff great food every time! Strongly recommend eating here!
So glad they are in Mt Pleasant!. Baronis is fantastic, love the wings and calzones. And the pizza is New York Style fabulous, so glad they are now in the area.
We had garlic knots & Big Baron Ny style pizza. It was excellent. I wouldn't recommend by the slice. MUCH better fresh.
Just moved to mt. P from west ashley. The only thing missing was baronis. I'm once again complete! So delicious!
Had a late lunch here, man nice place to sit and and enjoy your meal. They even have a "Kiss Band" pin ball machine. Great staff , very friendly and courteous

Went there last night, honestly saw it on the way to Wendy's... but once I saw new York pizza on the window I HAD to go. Our server Billy was awesome!! Super attentive, awesome chill server! Place has a great aura, great atmosphere. We had the Margherita pizza, have had it plenty of times at other places like California pizza... also the first time my boyfriend tried new York pizza, he's from mtns of NC... HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! From the salad (super fresh!) To the garlic knots (not oily like most places! To the huge glass glass of 2.50$ beer (BTW all the beer and appetizers are half off before 7pm!!).... and the pizza... this is what pizza is supposed to taste like... it tasted REAL. I can't emphasize that enough!!! Fresh ingredients, the crust wasent a perfect circle with 1 inch width, it was real! Seriously... the place is Ballin. Yes it's a pizza parlor, with beer, tons of options and great atmosphere.

We were on vacation and wanted pizza for supper and this place has great pizza and cannoli! Awesome pizza place and friendly service.
We ordered online from our hotel late and we waited for it to be delivered for 40 min, but the food was far worth the wait! The cook himself, covered in flour, brought it to is an apologized for the wait, a d personally brought it to us instead of is waiting any longer for the delivery guy. They were extremely busy yet still pooled through for their customers.
And like I said the food was hot, big portions, and on point! Leftovers were so good the next day too! So good! Highly recommended
The best pizza in Mt P! We order takeout from them every Friday without fail and everything we order is always perfect. The salads and veggies on the pizza are very fresh, salad dressings are delicious and homemade, and pizzas are perfection. Staff is very friendly, they know and remember us from our weekly visits. We’ve only done delivery a few times but when we have it’s been punctual and order has been correct. We don’t order pizza from anywhere else in Mt P. Best you’ll get outside of NYC!
The delivery is always on time. They utilize business software that remembers everything your family likes. Everything is made fresh and it tastes like it. The pizza is great and consistent at all locations in the city. Friendly staff. Fantastic food and service for many years. Another shining example of how bad reviews don't matter.
Moved to Mt. P from NY over a year ago and have been searching for great NY style pizza. I love the brick over pizza that other places make but every now and then I crave NY style. Every place I tried just didn't make the cut, until now! So glad I found Baroni's. Fabulous pizza and is 100% authentic...it's the proper dough, sauce and cheese and in the correct ratio. Now I know where to go to satisfy that craving.
Authentic NY pizza! My favorite in town! When you place an order online, they'll call you if anything on your order needs to be confirmed with them. They arrive on time and always have the nicest delivery drivers. The online ordering is easy to use and the site runs smoothly. Oh and the salads are even good and very fresh.
Asked my hotel manager where to get a great pizza. Wow! Hit the nail on the head. Fantastic tasting NY style pizza with just the right amount of grease and great crust. I would of ate a whole med , but didn't want to be a gluten. Definitely will be ordering again
We order from here often.. and it’s always good, but last night I have to say it was some of the VERY BEST pizza and wings I’ve ever had anywhere! They always make my special pizza, they always greet you with a smile and the food is GREAT! Thanks so much!
Best service I’ve had in a while, not just for a pizza spot, but for any restaurant period. Genuine friendliness is hard to beat anywhere, and the pizza was great too! We picked it up and pizza was ready to go on time, no issues with order.
They have become my pandemic go to... not only because their food is great (fresh, tasty, great value for the portions) but their staff is friendly and so on top of things. They make the garlic knots just like one my favorite places up north, and their red sauce is The Real Deal. (If you know, you.know!)
Baroni's is one the top two pizza places in Charleston's SC! If you like authentic New York style pizza, Baroni's is the place for you. The staff is hard-working and super awesome. If you're dining in, ask for Fabio! If you order a delivery, your dog will get a special treat if you're lucky enough to have our favorite driver deliver to your door! Fresh, friendly & fantastic!
My husband and I went here with our 11 year old daughter aka “the pizza eater”🤪. This place was absolutely amazing!! Great food and the best service!! Also, the price was very reasonable for food and service of such top quality!! We will definitely be visiting again!
So I'm gonna make this one of those long and wordy reviews because I've been a long time customer and sadly from now on I cannot be.
Baronis opened up actoss the street from where I live back when I was young so for many many years whenever I got pizza it was always from there. They knew me there to tge point where I'd call and they'd get my usual pie just off tge name. Never once did I get an wrong order. Service was always fast and good. The workers there are excellent. The ambience is nice and welcoming and the signs around the restaurant are entertaining. Especially the time they taped up faces of some guy on all their signs.
Since I moved out of town and far away from across the street I miss my usual pizza.
You won't find a better pizza in Mt.Pleasant. For their prices and quality.
