So, this place had some pretty good fried rice, so it had my vote. Being a sushi place, though, we had to try our hand at a few things. I only tried one roll, but it was pretty good. The star of the dinner was these crab dumpling things, i cant recall the name. They were full of flavor and crunch. I loved them.
My only concern was with our waitress, who wasn't able to identify the fish that arrived at the table in a platter, but maybe she was new. Try it. If you're a sushi person, you may just have a great time.
Having been here several times, we were surprised at the tremendous improvement of food quality & selection. Very diverse menu. Great happy hour. Open hours changed from what’s shown
This food is absolutely amazing. Very scrumptious. Anybody who loves Asian food, fish and sushi will love this place. This is a place for everybody. I am personally a very picky eater, and there was a bunch of variety here for a picky eater.
We had so much fun here ! The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Ray the bartender was great and some of the locals were so funny ( Martha) made me feel like a regular.
This might be the best Japanese food I've ever heard. I had the chicken and steak hibachi and was blown away by the symphony of flavors from the meats, veggies, oranges, sauce. My mom had the shrimp fried rice and enjoyed it too. The seating is large and cozy with good art work, and the music is really good.
food was great and came out fast, server was very nice and attentive, i recommended and will be coming back!!
I got sushi (bullet roll, Firecracker, and Crab crunch). It was delicious. I got it delivered through doordash so can't review the actual restaurant or service, but the food was great!
In town for months at a time. One of my favorite places for a drink and some Hella sushi! Service at the bar is perfect! Always a game on...great clientele...it's like being in your living room with catered service. Ask for Matthew (THE bartender, not the bartender) super nice, lots of fun...another fine example of the good people of SC (specifically Mt. Pleasant).
Food is very good and staff is very nice. Manager was very caring and service was quick and delightful.
Large seating area inside. Nice large open sushi bar. Restaurant was well lit and decorated, had a fishtank which added to to ambiance. Appetizers came out fast, hot, and tasty as well as our meals. I highly recommend the "Sex on the beach" sushi roll. Mongolian beef was another meal we ordered and it was delicious as well. Service was great throughout our time. Bathrooms are multi stall and they were clean. Food is well priced for the portions and quality. Manager made an appearance at each table. Well trained management team.
$$ but the plate is enough for 2 people. We eat and take to go the leftover and was enough for dinner. We make a special request ( by food allergies) and they help us kindly, the waitress was very kind and help us a lot, food taste good, a variation in preparation , but works, the fried rice was to simple the plate for kids is a fuller size, we eat after 4 pm, and receive some discount. We expect to pay more than $50.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids, but surprised were less than...we will return. They have sushi bar. For those whom like it.
So the experience here you guys was phenomenal make sure you go on Saturday catch it during happy hour or right around lunch time and you will see Ray. When I tell you he gave us the best experience it's an understatement. He made sure that we were comfortable, he had a wonderful personality, and made sure our scenery was up to our liking. The food you guys.. if you look at the pictures you will notice that there are no food pictures because not only I was hungry everything was delicious. I did not even have time to snap pictures I was so ready to dig in. The steak was tender, the rice was buttery, we had calamari for our appetizer and we ordered sushi and you guys I just need you to go there it's the best place to unwind.
Had a WONDERFUL birthday lunch here with my daughter today! It wasn’t long but very enjoyable. We both had the lunch special with miso soup. She had a Sex on the beach roll and I had an Out of control roll. They were both excellent but next time I’ll go for the Sex on the beach. 😬 Thanks for a great meal!
Great sushi and Pad Thai. Couldn’t ask for more!

Ive come here a lot over many years and I think they have the best sushi in town, their tuna dishes are also extremely delicious and I would highly recommend their wok dinners! Dinner is great here and the people are always really nice, what happened in the past is not typical and this place is usually very good about their stuff.

Make sure the check your itemized receipt, first received the wrong ticket, then the ticket that was ours had an overcharge of $7 for wontons instead of $6 like it said on the menu and then when I ordered the tsunami glazed chicken the menu says with fried/white rice AND soup/salad so I ordered fried rice and soup and got charged for the soup when it was supposed to be included and he said no it doesnt come with soup and then said it does come with it but it would be an extra charge (which means it doesnt come included lol) so I told him to take it off. The pricing things aren't the waiters fault, but the restaurant should honor what their menu says.
