Sarah always takes great care of us! I got shrimp and scallops today and drove them 4 hours. Held up great and shared a delicious meal. Seafood is always fresh and great variety!
We hired Mt Pleasant Seafood to cater and Oyster Roast at our home. Steve & Mt Pleasant Seafood far exceeded our expectations. Great communication. Arrived on time, stayed later than expected, and had a great attitude the entire time. Oysters were some of the best we've ever had (and we've done a LOT of roasts in 25 years here in Charleston), pulled pork bbq sandwiches were great, and the chili was on point. Highly recommended, will definitely considering hiring them for our next event!
One of my favorite things to do growing up was going to Mt. Pleasant Seafood with my mom to pick up fresh seafood for dinner. To this day, I love coming here! This place is extra special to me and I don't get seafood anywhere else!

Every year my and I go to Charleston South Carolina for vacation and to visit with my mother in law. One of the tasks we give ourselves is going home with shrimp for the next year. Mount Pleasant seafood is one of the businesses we use for that purchase. Located right at Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Very easy to locate and plentiful parking. Shrimp is not the only seafood one can acquire in this establishment . They have a wide variety of seafood, mainly saltwater fish but all fresh. They can also ship to your location in the lower 48 states. Pricing varies according to the yield at the time of your order. The shrimp are exceptional quality and very clean. You can get them serviced, anyone who has experienced shrimp knows what that means. The store also has spices and merchandise related to seafood. This is a place well worth a visit if you are ever in Charleston South Carolina, highly recommended.
This place is rad - the type of local business you don’t see around as much as you used to, and the kind of place that I go out of my way to buy my fish from. Fish is always fresh and delicious, staff is always super helpful, kind, and friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend a visit.
We were visiting from Georgia and a young lady I met in whole foods told me I can get some great fresh fish from Mount pleasant seafood they did not disappoint everybody was very friendly and very kind. I wore my Steeler shirt because I'm actually from Pittsburgh and that brought up some great conversation. I purchased some beautiful fish and had great conversation when I come back to visit Mount pleasant South Carolina I will definitely be going to Mount pleasant seafood!
Got fresh shy with heads off, peeled and deveined!!! They have all kinds of fresh fish. Guy very nice.
Nice fresh seafood and locally made crab cakes. I got a wonderful piece of tuna! The tuna was $25 / lb. Nice young men were working. So helpful!

Mt. Pleasant Seafood catered recently for our company’s Customer Appreciation party. The guests were so very impressed with the quality and taste of the oysters, the friendliness and efficiency of the guys cooking, and how they just timed each batch to the tables perfectly. We have called upon Mt. Pleasant Seafood each year that we do this party because they always just get it right. It was a breeze to set up with Sarah on the phone and Stephen at the party. They made a large task so very easy to accomplish. Thanks……again! We’ll do this all again with you next year!
Picked up some shrimp and oysters the other day and both were excellent. Shrimp were fresh and clean and oysters that I called ahead for (the folly’s) were ready to go for pick up when I arrived. Excellent owners, and knowledgeable team of staff! Rest assured will be going here for my next shrimp boil and oyster roast needs!
Super friendly and helpful staff make you feel right at home. Fresh as you can get seafood. Scallops were fab.
What a wonderful place. I took my grandsons in to pick up some shrimp. The lady let them boss touch the blue crab and gave them both a very cool fish poster. Prices are amazing top quality.
Went there for blue claw crabs, none to be had, but came out with the best jumbo shrimp we ever ate!!
