My mom and I came for a late lunch after an appointment. I googled subs near me and I’m glad this gem popped up! The service was excellent and the club sub was delicious!! We order some fries to share and they were hot and fresh! The quality of the food is amazing and fresh!! Definitely will come back! Nova and Nia was welcoming and a pleasure! Please support this Black own business if you’re in the Mt. Pleasant area! You won’t be disappointed!!

I did a team order through them, so 25 subs, and I’m so impressed. We’re traveling from out of town and arrived later than expected and Jon Smith Subs put our food in a container that kept everything warm which was so thoughtful. We barely have a heads up and they were so accommodating. The food was delicious!! Definitely will be a repeat customer!

Subs were so good and the salad with chicken was delicious. Delivery was on time, communication was on point and all the extras (dressing, condiments, silverware, plates, drinks that were COLD) were included. I highly recommend Jon Smith Subs!

Great place, great subs! I ordered the turkey breast, & only Mayo. Added on bacon. I assumed that it came with cheese on it, but unfortunately it does not. So cheese is an add on. They have made when ordered fries that are great!! the cleanliness of the dine-in wasn't the best but definitely could have been worse. $40 & change for 2 adults and 1 child.

Hubby had a bad sub experience last week at another place I won't name, and I really wanted a decent sandwich. I heard about this place and since they were near my work, I stopped in to give them a shot on the way home yesterday. After my fantastic experience I will definitely be dropping by again whenever I don't feel like cooking! The restaurant is cute and clean, the staff amazingly friendly, and the food is top-notch. Kayla greeted me from behind the counter as soon as I walked in the door, and she is an absolute delight. She was so warm and friendly, I tried to poach her to come work for me LOL I had the privilege of meeting the owner, who told me next week is their anniversary celebration and they will be having daily specials and a big charity event Saturday, which sounds like a great time. For my hubby I ordered a 12" Hot Pastrami and those famous fries with a big drink. The sandwich is exactly what you want in a hot sub. Fresh bread, crusty outside and soft inside, loaded with tender meat so perfectly sliced! Most places slice too thin or too thick and sloppy. Jon Smith's does it right! Just the right amount of toothiness. The balance of meat, cheese, and condiments was perfect, the meat so flavorful and fresh! The mustard stood out as very sharp but not overpowering. The fries were hot, fresh, and fun floppy, not overcrisp but still a little steamy and soft. They gave me lots of ketchup too, which I appreciate. I got myself the Cuban, and it was a decent Cuban. Plenty of pickles and really good meats. Not sure on the bread, it wasn't exactly the Cuban bread experience I remember from Florida or even Havana Cafe (RIP) but it was a nice sandwich. I want to try the ham and cheese next, but at least I know when I have a Cuban craving I can satisfy it here. This might be my new favorite sandwich shop. They know what they're doing and they seem to enjoy doing it. That's a winning combination! I know I'll be seeing them again soon, because we love sandwiches!

Fantastic staff, great spot, super clean and a tantalizing spread of fresh sandwiches and wraps. I had a loaded steak sub and loved it. The bacon was perfectly cooked and it was nice and cheesy. I like this place better than any other chain sandwich shop. Price is great being in the middle of mount pleasant, very reasonable pricing on their menu. I look forward to coming back here. Other than what happened below - when they do get the order right it is delicious and I still want to try their chicken tenders 😋 The sub is expensive, and multiple times now they have gotten my order wrong. Today was a big one though. No lettuce, no tomato, no banana peppers, no oil, no vinegar, no pickles, no cajun on my fries. That seems like a lot to just "miss" And my boyfriend went to drive 15min back from where we were to get a correct sub which they did remake it so thats a plus but the thing is, it's not the first time and I've been to this place about roughly 15 times if not more.

Grabbed some sandwiches here on 1/7/23. What convinced me to finally try this place was a one-star review left by some lactose intolerant Yankee tourist...and all I can say is WOW. I got a steak bomb. It was INSANE. Every bite was epic. The service was excellent, the sandwich came out fast, and it was still hot by the time I got home. The fries are AMAZING. This place will now be in my regular rotation.
