This is my go-to spot whenever i come to Mt. Pleasant. Great food; great service. I know the majority of the staff even though I'm only there once every few months and they treat me like family. I brought my sister and my niece there and it was their first time there. They told me they found their new favourite spot in Plezzy
Queso dip and tacos are amazing :) I would recommend this place to any one who wants authentic Mexican food.
This place was great the food is soooo good. It was super busy when we were there and we had a party of 6 and they got us seated right away the service was great and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. I would recommend everyone to check it out you will not be disappointed.

I found Los Palominos about seven years ago. It's become my addiction. They cook with quality ingredients and love. I get shrimp dishes most of the time, and the dishes always have tons of shrimp! The staff are warm and friendly. Even when the place is packed you get served quickly. Love this place!
Good prices. The staff is always extremely nice. Consistently good food. You really can't wrong here all the way down the menu. Great little gem in town.
Los Palominos is so good it makes me want to stand outside of La Senorita with a sign warning people that they can do better. Best authentic Mexican food in Mt. Pleasant hands down

The shrimp chimichanga and California burrito were excellent. My 11 year old who is very picky, loved the ground beef tacos. Complimentary chips and salsa were very good. Great service. We'll be going back.
The food was good, service was okay. Had to ask to have refills after getting someone’s attention. Appears they are short staffed and training so appreciate the efforts and we enjoyed the tasty food.
Have dined here many times but this is my first review. Good chips and salsa. We had chicken fajitas and chimichanga. Flavor of chicken fajitas was awesome. The chicken in the chimi was rather bland but the sauce was was flavorful. Beans and rice typical of local restaurants...tasty. Pico de Gallo was fresh and flavorful. Our server was super nice and efficient. This is a regular in our Mexican restaurant rotation and will continue to be so.
As a person who spends most of his time in a kitchen making food it makes me very happy to come eat at a place like this. The food is delicious very authentic and good portions for the amount of money you're spending. Very friendly staff out of the Mexican restaurant in this town there really is no competition I believe they have the best Mexican food. Thanks for a delicious meal I can't wait to come back tell then I'll be dreaming of tacos from Los palominos.

All Mexican Restaurants are different and claim to be authentic. This one was close and that is the reason for the 4 stars but my whole experience should have rated it lower.
After waiting too long to be seated it just seemed like we were treated like one of those guests that come in too late and they would rather go home.
Waitress was cold and place was dark. My wife has to use her phone to read the menu. The restaurant seemed clean and it had some business.
The margaritas were strong and too sour for our taste and it took a long time to get our order. Just an over all vibe they were not happy for our business
The food finally arrived and I was a little let down on the quantity as my burrito was small. The taste was authentic but not that “wow” taste I was hoping for as Mexican food is my favorite. I was not let down as it did have a good flavor and worth eating.
I was let down as the waitress could have offered us another Margarita but failed to do that or even ask us if we wished for desert. A word of advise to your business is up sell... teach your waitress this gets there tip bigger and your sales higher... I probably would have had another.
So 4 stars which is good in my book for the food

Had a late lunch here on a Tuesday with my husband and parents. Each of us ordered a different one of the fajita dishes.
The good: the fajita meat portions were wonderfully generous. The onions on the hot fajita plates were beautifully caramelized, and we were all quite pleased.
The ok: as a Texan eating Mexican food in Michigan (perspective), I thought the puco de gallo could use considerably more heat, and the salsa might have been from a jar and wasn't noteworthy. The chips were ok but not hot or fresh. The service was friendly and helpful but not too in your face, which I prefer.
I would like it better if they would turn the music down.
The less ok: the guacamole was without texture, definitely not homemade, and tasted like old or bad avocadoes. Would not recommend.
There was a lot of road construction happening when we went, and this made it more difficult to find, but for Mexican food in Michigan, this sort of hole in the wall place delivered well on the meats and grilled vegetables, and I would definitely seek them out again.
A great Mexican restaurant! Looks a little dumpy from outside.. but the food is excellent!! Highly recommended!
At first I wasn't sure about our choice, since Mexican restaurants vary greatly sometimes. However, after the delicious homemade chips and salsa arrived, I knew we had chosen the correct restaurant. I got the mixed chicken and beef fajitas. Being a fairly large eater, I wasn't certain it would be enough but let me tell you, it came with three flour tortillas a nice size plate of garnishments and a delicious sizzling platter of beef, chicken and onions and peppers.
What can I say? This is now probably one of my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant. Don't worry about it, you will love the food. I was pleasantly surprised when we got the bill, two delicious lunches for $20.
Make sure you treat yourself to this fine restaurant. Nice atmosphere and delicious food make this a winning combination for sure.
My wife and I have been going here since before we got married have a very hard time spending over 30 dollars with drinks and food.. so full you can't move with a few beers and margaritas for about 24 bucks love this place

Food is good just kind of uncomfortable being watched while eating. I know they are doing their job making sure to get plates taken care of but there is a point that its overkill.
My father in law brought my wife and I in and it was a great experience. Delicious food and the service was amazing. The flan was the best we have had in a long while. We will definitely stop back in when we are in town.
I think I found my new restaurant. The food was fantastic. The prices was good. The waitress we had was awesome. Will be going back in the near future.
