I have tried every Chinese restaurant in Mt.Pleasant, and this is definitely my favorite. The staff is very accommodating and very friendly.
Easily the greatest Chinese in Mt. Pleasant. People seem to suggest another restaurant when asked where to go for Chinese, but I don't think a lot of people give this place a try because of its location. My friends and I get take out from First Wok at least once a week!

Ok so I've been going to this restaurant for many years and no surprises then when I say the absolute best flavored Chinese food you can find anywhere in central Michigan area. The people that run it are some of the hardest working employees and really care about getting your order to you with first class service. Actually I love the food and I am very fond of the people that work there. I guess that really is why I keep going there!!!!
The food was amazing. There were only two people working so it took a bit longer to get our food but it was so good and the portions were very large. This place is the definition of a whole in the wall restaurant but was the best Chinese I've had in a while!

This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Mt. Pleasant. However they are closed on Sundays. I usually order the Mongolian beef with fried rice or sweet and sour chicken. I call about 15 mins before I'm ready to pick it up. It is mostly a take out restaurant. There's not a lot of seating.
The service was very good! The food was all fresh & hot! The meat quality was a bit sub par though, I got general TSO chicken & the chicken pieces seamed like the hard tough edges of the thigh, flavor was good though, the place is pretty old inside needs a bit of remodel but it was clean. The crab wontons where pretty good!

I eat here at least once a week. My parents used to eat here many years ago also. The woman who attends the front desk and answers the phone knows who I am when I call and knows I like egg roll instead of spring roll. Plenty of food for a reasonable price, I get two meals out of each combo order. I’ve never once had a problem with my food, it’s always fresh and timely. These people work very hard and I’m happy to give my business to a local family owned business.
The landlord should keep the building up better, I’ve witnessed problems that they shouldn’t have with the space. Also, I think it’s rude of people to park in front of the doors and block the fire lane and avoid parking and walking a short distance like other customers. Don’t be so lazy and inconsiderate!
Okay this time they really ticked me off!
Called in an order and she sounded stressed and told me 30 minutes. I showed up after 45 and still had to wait ANOTHER 50 MINUTES! It will be a LONG time before I trust them again. And that's sad because I've been going there for 20 plus years.
I really like this Chinese restaurant and have been coming here for many years. I used to order enough food to free 35-50 students, after their Rotaract meeting. First Wok gives value for their orders. I always order from First Wok when I am back in Mount Pleasant, MI.
