Keirsten was very tentative we have plenty of options in Mexican restaurants from home to here we travel from Midland but the service it great the food is great highly recommend. Dessert is good too
Great atmosphere, great food!!! The entire staff makes you feel welcomed. Our favorite waitress, Riley, is always extremely attentive and has a very uplifting attitude. She makes our experience there enjoyable...we ask for her every time we go. Her momma must have raised her right! Highly recommend to everyone.😊👍
The food was great, the service was ok, I felt like the waitress would look right at me and could see that I was needing her to come over but choose to ignore our table, even though it was not busy at all because we were there on a Monday, late afternoon. Food made up for it. Overall I would definitely go back. Every service person deserves a second chance. I know it's not an easy job.

We stopped at Los Amigos in Mt. Pleasant on a Saturday evening around 7pm for dinner. The open sign was lit, but there was only one car in the parking lot, so we were concerned that maybe there was a problem with the food or service and people didn’t want to eat there…. Not the case at all though. We were promptly seated, the service was great, and the food was excellent!
Their prices are pretty much standard. The portion size of my fajita nachos was on the small size for a dinner portion, but again the quality made up for the size. The restaurant is a little off the main road, but easy enough to spot.
One minor complaint I did have was that they were sweeping and mopping the dining room floor while we were eating. They kept their distance, but the smell of bleach was a little off putting as we were trying to eat. Also, as we left, the servers both looked at as and kept talking to each other, not acknowledging us as we left. Not big things that would keep us from going back, but enough to not give five stars.
Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere! I never been there before, our waiter Kayla was very polite. She made the experience enjoyable! The food was phenomenal! Drinks on point! We will definitely be returning.
Good drinks, good food, and good service. The location is great (not right on the main drag) and the speed at which food was brought out was great. Staff was friendly, offering answers to any questions we had ... With a smile! We're not in the area often but the next time that we are we will definitely try out more of their menu.
First time to visit here and had Faith as our server. She was absolutely fantastic and helpful. Food was very good and service was excellent. Will definitely be back!! The deep fried cheesecake was amazing!
I was just there with my wife, we had a great meal, great atmosphere and a fantastic waitress! Riley was on point as usual, and we enjoyed her positive outlook on life. We will continue to dine here, and always ask for Riley.
Very nice experience. The food was great! A cut above most of the central Michigan Mexican options, which usually tastes like the food was delivered in barrels from the same food distributor.
This place has the best food! It is so varied and perfectly seasoned, it is filling and the prices are reasonable. The staff are so kind and you can tell they take pride in their establishment. These pictures were from February when we went for our anniversary dinner, but the food quality has not suffered at all from just being take out.

Reading recent reviews regarding automatic gratuity...I am editing my review.
Next time we go, we will be paying with CASH. I will add the bill myself, and include the tip I think is deserving, place it on the table, get up and walk out. This will prevent my CC from being charged an automatic gratuity, and not have to interact with staff regarding the total of the bill.
We like the place, and are returning customers, but the automatic gratuity IS WRONG!!! I agree...tip is based on SERVICE, and not the amount of the bill.
If you want an automatic 20% tip, then PROVE IT! I am pretty generous with tips when eating out, because we don't go out that often, but now that I know this place is tacking on a tip they may not deserve, the bill will be paid with cash. If they want to chase me down, let 'em try. Will be long gone before they realize they can't screw me over twice (once for service or food undeserving of 20%, and another for trying to give yourself something you may not deserve).
Still...a good authentic menu. Sometimes busy, which is good for both the business, and let's others know it is a good place to eat. A good variety on the menu.
IMO...best homemade salsa in town. I will occasionally get some to go, take it home, and pair it with the best chips I have found,..On the Border. Sometimes my breakfast or dinner is just these two paired together!
I like the food, and haven't yet had issues with any of the staff. We have a few times waited a bit longer than anyone should to have our order taken, or get the food to the table, but no one is perfect. It's one of the few places in town that we frequent, so we will be back...I like Mexican food.
I also like Chinese, and meat. Our other go-to places are Texas Roadhouse and The Great Wall.
To the management and staff of Los Amigos...thank you for my experiences, but it seems that there are a couple things that need improvement according to a few recent reviews from others; staff interaction and attentiveness, and the quality, and prep of the food. Keep working on it... everyone and everything is a work in progress until we die or you quit beforehand.
My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out for the first time and we were not disappointed! The food was wonderful and our server Riley did a great job. We will for sure be back!
Our waitress Dee was very polite, professional, and prompt. Very speedy and friendly provided excellent service above and beyond. The food is always very tasty and hot. Will definitely return
I ate here tonight and had Riley as my sever. She was an amazing server and really made our dinging experience enjoyable. We will be back again and hope to have her as our server again!
