Wow! I love this place! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and this was the best place to be. The atmosphere is quite comfortable and the wait staff are very courteous and attentive to the guests. The burger and fries that I got definitely hit the spot and the portions seemed to be very good for the price that I paid.
Today I had errands to run for work so I was able to pick a place to eat in Mount Pleasant. As I drove into town I tried to think of the different places that I had been told to try and I settled on Herschel's. I was not even sure what they served so it was going to be a true adventure today. After reviewing the menu for several minutes, my taste buds settled in on the Mexi-spud. Generously loaded down with season taco meat, cheese, butter, and freshly sauteed onions. I especially like the fact that nothing was over seasoned each individual bite you could taste the meat and then the cheese and then the onions individually for a simple potato it was very well done. The service of this restaurant is very nice open friendly and inviting. The 5 star is because it has good food at a good price with great friendly staff.
First time here today. My mother in law brought me to try it out. And hands down the freshest of fresh here. Very filling too. Thank you for a great experience. This will be my go to every time I'm in town now. Customer service excellent!! Great pricing. Good was so hot and fresh!!
Food was good, was expecting better but it was value food for the price. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, fried okra. Mashed Potatoes tasted instant, Steak was pre-made but cooked good. Service was excellent.
It took less than 5 minutes to get my Royal breakfast! The food was excellent, as well as the service. I am here from out of town for a few days, but will definitely come back to eat 😁

I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy, fried okra and baked potato for dinner. As always dinner here at Heschel's is always well served here.
Love their food and ice cream! My son's favorite restaurant!! I like their Chicken classic spuds, chicken fried steaks and they have the BEST Chocolate soft serve!!😍
I met my son & 2 of his friends. We had a wonderful time. We all were able to visit w/o any interruptions. It was nice. The food & the atmosphere was very pleasing.
