LOVED the food here. My boyfriend loves his Portuguese steak and I always love a good seafood paella! They also accommodated my milk allergy and were so kind! Great experience!
The food was great. I had the Paella. Went about 2 weeks ago and it was so good I decided to go again! It's a quaint, cozy little spot. Not fancy, but don't get me wrong it's nice. The prices are very good in my opinion. I had some Portuguese coffee (cannot remember the name) but it was fantastic. I'll be back for the steak.

I had a nice time here. They give you free bread when you sit which is nice and warm and fluffy. We got the Sopa a Portuguesa which was good. The Galito Trio appetizer which was just okay; 3 of everything, 3 wings, 3 pasteis de bacalhau and 3 pieces of fried chouriço. The Bifana Sandwich which was nice. Plain but still good. Fries were really good. I asked for sauce on the side which they gave me a ton of and it was excellent. Alcatra was great. Very fun. It comes in like the handmade clay pot. He joked it looks like what a medieval man would eat. Lol. It was really good, maybe a tiny bit too salty but great when mixed with the plain potatoes and rice on the side. They still have the cafe open at night and it’s so reasonably priced. Cheapest espresso in the state. Lol. We shared a Galão (latté) for dessert. Service was a little slow and I would probably get something else the next time I come but it was still all good. The highlight being the molho and the Sumol in the glass container. I heard they have excellent espresso martinis from someone else but I did not get one myself.
Best Portuguese food in the area. My to go dish is the stuffed shrimp with steak, so good and they also have an almond cake that’s so delicious. Service is always friendly. Thanks again I will be back soon.
Stopped in for lunch, had some great Portuguese food as always. Usually get take out, but had time to sit and have a drink. Food came out quick, tasty, and I was a happy man. The service is also on point, place is always welcoming. Can't wait to go back.
UPDATE: 9/14/2021 they don't have little necks and oysters anymore.
We went for the 1.5$ oysters and little necks. I was very pleased with the size of them! I've been to another restaurant in Providence where they do 1$ oysters and they were so skinny but these were fat!
We also got their Watermelon margaritas, a Caparina, and Watermelon lemonade and they were all delicious.
Service was a little on the slower side but staff was very pleasant.
Never had Portuguese food before. It was great. Food is delicious, service is very friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful inside. Loved the Portuguese French fries -- all home made.
Exceptional service, excellent food. Definitely coming back! Ask for Jeanine's sangria, white or red, phenomenal!!
Stumbled into this great local Portuguese restaurant. The service and food were outstanding. I enjoyed a drink at the bar and then an amazing dinner. I highly recommend this for lunch or dinner.
I got a fish fillet sandwich with grilled onions and peppers and Portuguese fries. It couldn't have been any better.

We stumbled upon Galitos tonight while we were out, I have to say the food was great! We had an awesome waitress (wish I could remember her name but she was just about to turn 17....she was attentive, quick and very accurate, never wrote our order down). After we finished our meal, the owner stopped at our table introduced himself (Victor) and checked to see how our meal was, he came back a few minutes later with some after dinner wine!! Great place, great food and very friendly. I highly recommend you check it out!
