This restaurant has been in Mount Vernon for years!!! I am glad the keep up the quality of service. They sell the best soups!!! My favorites are chicken and cowfoot. The ladies behind the counter are friendly and welcoming.
Food is usually very tasty and the portions are good. The is a difference in chefs, however, you can always tell when Chef Linton Shirley cooks. His food is of impeccable taste. Customer service by the ladies need to step up a notch, especially their telephone manners.
They have fair prices and are very generous with portions they give you for their price. For example their mini dishes are actually small sized in comparison to other restaurant and their medium are actually large. The food taste good and delicious and always taste fresh. One of my fave caribbean restaurant. Food is always good here, they never let me down, and great customer service. The young lady that works the front is always pleasant. I had them cater for my baby shower and everybody loved the food. Definitely recommend!

The portions are large for a good price.
There is meter parking so come with your
quarters. I love the Oakra and Salt Fish
with boiled green bananas,yam and
dumplings.
I describe it as moms and pop food. Never over seasoned and the fried dumplings will melt in your tastebuds. Excellent choice

I love Royal Caribbean patties, but i am not lucky to catch the meat loaf. If anyone need meat loafs you have to go early
This restaurant is clean the people are respectable that serve you their studious and the food is outstanding stopping sometime you'll love it

On rainy cold days, the chicken soup is a delight..Sunny days, rice and peas and any meat is love for the tummy.
Good food for on the go or sit in like you cooked at home. Jamaican baked goods also available. Staff is very nice.
