Food was amazing and the service was even better, we came at the end of the night and the food was still fresh. I had a relatively large order (6 rotis) and the man behind the counter was very patient. The woman was so sweet. As long as I they are in business I will be a patron.
I'm a pescatarian so I was thrilled to see that had both vegetarian and pescatarian options. I had the Vegatable Roti (with everything), Saltfish and Bake, and the fried whiting. The best traditional Guyanese food on this side of the mainland. I highly recommend the Roti and Curry chicken. Fried chicken and Mac & cheese are also great options. And there are vegan options. They have a veggie roti I love. And my wife loves the shrimp roti.
Great small place with home cooked style food. We got the buss up with Chana, whiting fish and some empanadas. All the food is delicious here so far. It's my favorite place to pop in when I'm in the area.
Price is fair for the food you get. Absolutely delicious, i highly recommend their curry rotis. Parking is a little difficult, but well worth it. Owners are also friendly and ensured I was satisfied. Highly recommend this underrated gem in mount vernon
