Loved the food. I wanted to eat everything honestly. The oxtail was amazing so was the stew chicken. The fried chicken tasted a little dry but it could’ve been that piece.
I ordered a medium chicken foot it was pretty good not too spicy but wayyy too many pimentos I took out about 20 of them before I could start eating.
Love this place!! My wife turned me on to them. They have a great selection to choose from. What I really like about their prices and portions is whatever you get s,m,l you are getting a very fair portion. My favorite is their Stewed Beef and their Brown Stew Chicken not too overly done with scotch bonnet, just right 👍🏽! Maybe I'll have to give somthing else a try but I already know I'll love it whichever way I go! Big Up Matrix Restaurant!!!
The oxtail with rice and peas is a MUST here. Every bite packed with so much flavor and amazing seasonings. New favorite oxtail spot for a affordable price.
The food can be a hit or miss at time but over all pretty good. I drive down from upper westchester probably 2-3times a month stack up on food then head back. Do wish their was a little more consistency with the taste, but I’m guessing there’s probably 2-3 different cooks and they each have there own way of making the food... still a good place to go though.
Wow it was my first time and i really enjoyed the food i bought ackee and saltfish and i got a oxtail stew peas meal also it was gooood wonderful service the prices not too bad either.
Food isn't bad. Staff are nice; which for a Jamaican restaurant in the Bronx that's a big deal. Their food is a bit pricier when compared to other places... but they make up in portion size. Their shrimp rice is my absolute fave. It's a pity it's not available everyday
Ordered 2- sides of jerk chicken, Mac n cheese, and a curry chicken dinner. It all was so delicious with just the right level of spice to make your nose water. I'm just mad that Uber eats 4got my rastapasta. I'll order again. 1 ❤️

Listen its really a 3 star because of the wait but the food was so good it got another star! Like the food was so good I cant even take a photo because its gone... I got the white rice oxtails and cabbage. My sister got samon cabbage and mac and cheese. Now it's a bit pricey in there but it is worth it. Your not leaving spending less than 11 bucks unless you are only buying a drink. However the servings are so generous that you dont care. THE FOOD IS 5 STARS
