Affordable and the cashier has a smile that will draw you back in the store. I've had good days and not so wonderful days/night with the food, but it's not too bad.

This small spot would be bustling with street traffic from the local Mount Vernon government staff at lunch to the barrage of kids getting out of school needing a snack if it were not for COVID. According to local long timers, this place has been around for a while. On recommendation I tried the grilled chicken and rice platter. The chicken was fresh, hot, juicy and tender with fluffy seasoned rice underneath and a cool basic lettuce and tomato salad off to the side. All packed neatly in a styrofoam carry out box. The cucumber sauce is worth requesting extra on the side. You'll thank me later. The owner seems to always be there and is quite personable. There's also a little Jamaican booth right inside the store. They seem to stay having business. I hope both spots can withstand the effects of the city shutdown and lack of customers. I'd hate to see them close like many of their neighbors.
Great value from the 10pc leg and thigh, my food arrived hot and seasoned. Well exceeded my exceptions, great local spot for food whether it be pickup or delivery.

Frequent this place. Been going for years mando is still the man do good by the people . Chicken burgers fries anything you order fresh and taster. You go you won’t regret it . Always good amount of seating and clean if you choose to eat inside the establishment.
Want crispy seasoned chicken? Want affordable prices? This is the place to go. So underrated and not appreciated and praised enough. I will take this place over Popeyes and KFC any day. I go there once a month and this place deserves a makeover.
One of the best places to get a quick bite if you like fry chicken. They constantly make fresh batches of chicken and french fries. You won't be disappointed.
I been going to this chicken hut for over 38 years. The food is still good and still operated by some of the same people. We all remember each other over the years! Best fish sandwiches and chicken rice!

The chicken was really good. It been a while since I had a good fried chicken. I actually when back twice. I live upstate NY so I miss me you downstate good food.

The best fried chicken and fish sandwiches in the area. Always hot and fresh. Staff is friendly. Oh and the mashed potatoes are yummy esp at 1AM after out drinking. Lol!
