first time here. People are very friendly behind the counter. They patiently answered my 101 questions about the menu. Tried their large portion of jerk pork. Food is not only served in huge portions for the money, but also very hearty and satisfyingly delicious. I'd make a trip here just to try other stuff on the menu.

I loved it jerk chicken was amazing delicious and the rice and cabbage so good too ,I wish I could have gotten a little extra chicken ,but other than that I can’t wait to come back tomorrow and try the jerk pork ,I’m hoping they do it every day lol
Great Jamaican food. Tastes like your in someone's kitchen. They ran out of jerk chicken but the oxtails were very good . . But a little pricey.
They serve a special everyday and every last Friday of the month its a fish fry day#fryfish#steamfish#brownstewfish.

The food was great I had the jerk chicken meal with rice and peas. Chicken was nice and tender the rice was great. Just wish they gave me more chicken. Great service as well !
The lady who helped me in the front was so nice, walking into the place smelled like home away from home. I would definitely recommend ordering from here and the manager was very nice on my situation with an XL tray of jerk chicken. Everyone was in love with the food and the best part is, the price wasn’t break your pockets but a reasonable one. Thank you!
Recently came across this place, and i strongly recommend it. my boyfriend and i came here for lunch when we both couldn’t decide what to eat at all and went on google and saw this place. we enjoy their food very much to spicy to sweet and savory and most important it’s fresh! with a very generous portion for a non expensive price and i will be going back again. hope this helps
Very clean, polite staff, food was great and very hot. I ordered some fried chicken and medium oxtail. The staff was not selfish with sauce or oxtail and the price was very reasonable. Thank you for the great service. I would definitely go back!

I usually only buy the jerk chicken and pork. They are tender and spicy, just like I like it. They add more spice source on the side of you want. The people there are fast and very nice. When you call ahead it is much quicker.
This place is all about the jerk. They Jerk everything and it is absolutely delicious here! the rice and peas are always flavorful and moist. The jerk chicken and pork is usually on my plate and the meat is always well cooked, tender, and exactly the kind great tasting fix i opt for to satisfy my hunger. Regular lunch spot for our office.
The price of food is very reasonable, it's clean, and it taste good. Their jerk chicken is the best !!! Its a small mostly take out restaurant but if you're in Mount Vernon New York it's definitely worth trying.
The owner was on spot and greeted me warmly and stayed his name. It is obvious that he is fully involved both in the customer service area and in the kitchen. There a decent line of people waiting to be served and when my time came to times be served the attendant who took my order did it with a smile and informed me that one if the items I ordered will not be ready for another ten minutes and offered a seat on one of the chairs in the waiting area and also a complimentary non alcoholic drink of my choice because I had to wait for an extra ten minutes. The time frame that was promised was fulfilled within the specified time. Last but not least the appearance and cleanliness of the customer service and seating areas was spotless and arranged neatly. On reaching home my wife and I enjoyed the that was well prepared. Will definitely return.
