We absolutely love this place. The place is so clean, stunning and the bathrooms are the best. It smells like smoked wood! The food is delicious and the drinks are seriously some of the best in the area. We come all the way from Bellingham to come here. The staff are so nice too.
I have been to valley shine numerous times and every time has been phenomenal! Their in house spirits and liqueurs are all amazing and you can get a tasting flight of all 7 I would highly recommend. I’ve had almost all of their cocktails. My two favorites are the smoked vesper and chai spiced old fashioned. They’re good is also awesome! I’ve had a few items and they’re always fresh and delicious! 5/5 would definitely recommend you stop in and at least get a tasting flight!
Great atmosphere and service. Food was unique and amazing however the menu is limited. I had the pasta and my husband had the beef cheeks. They both melted in your mouth. Didn't even need a knife for the beef, it was cooked perfectly.
Fantastic and unique little place to visit. Has a variety of gifts to buy for that very special someone. Kinda like a coffee shop for booze. Not really a full restaurant, but some very delicious plates of a variety of food. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts. And of course cocktails. Whoever did the interior design is a genius, very comfortable and inviting.
The whole draw to this place is the spirits. It's the main event! I'd match the bourbon and the gin to any top shelf spirits in the country, you have to try them.
The owners and staff finish off this excellence with passion and knowledge of the fare, answering questions and making everyone feel welcome and at home. Check it out.

Phenomenal food! It's a short list yet each thing that I tried was delicious. I was torn between the chop salad and the homemade mac and cheese. My wife and I also ordered a few mixed drinks they were strong and tasted great.
We came in late on this Sunday so things are a little bit slower. Our server did an excellent job we look forward and coming back.
Just moved to Mount Vernon a week ago and my lady and I found this place just walking around exploring. We had Old Fashions and they were amazing! Strong and flavorful. We didn’t have food but saw our fellow patrons’ food and immediately regretted eating earlier that night. This place is clean, great decor, and had a wonderful staff. Our bartender Xander was attentive, personable and very experienced in mixology. We will absolutely will be making Valley Shine Distillery our regular venue for quality drinks and food. What a wonderful find!
This is a really cute, unique place. They are a bit on the pricey side, but I think it is worth it. The cocktails are well made and not watered down and the food is always creative and good. This is a great place to go if you aren't in a rush and want to enjoy a drink alone or with friends. I highly recommend their Thursday Night Flights - although it can be busy it is worth the wait and the price. They differ each week and you can tell a lot of effort is put into creating unique cocktails for tasting.
The ambiance and good food really made the experience here. While we sadly didn't love the bourbon by itself (wouldn't recommend the old fashioned), we did like it in the flavored mixed cocktails and they have many! Will definitely be back for date night to try the gin. They have drinks other than hard liquor too, and a pretty lengthy appetizer and food menu. Highly recommend the steak salad and the gnocchi.
