I've now been here for breakfast & lunch on several occasions and I am never disappointed! Their smoothies are amazing & you can never go wrong with the burger or chicken wrap for lunch. Everyone is always friendly & the service never disappoints!
The staff is extremely friendly and the food is just downright amazing! I went here all the time when I was pregnant� I highly recommend to anyone who loves a good meal and a wonderful atmosphere!
To the very kind lady who we could only assume was the owner/manager.They were incredibly busy on Saturday morning so instead of having our family wait for a table to free up she kindly offered us a table in the upstairs area, which was reserved for guests coming in a little later. In the middle of her being incredibly busy, not to mention also attending to her kids while working she brought us up the most amazing cinniman roll and pumpkin muffin. We thouraly enjoyed the food and will most definitely be back in the future. Thank you for being so wonderful to us. The world needs more of you!
I have been several times now, food and coffee are great! All the staff are very warm and welcoming. The salads are huge and well worth the price. It is nice to have this within walking distance from my work.

Reserved the space upstairs for a small get together. Food was excellent and service was even better! I will definitely be going again! I'm so happy there is a cafe like this in Mt Vernon!

Cozy, warm atmosphere! Love the decor and small town friendliness! I got the half size Kale Salad which was fresh, crisp with lots of toppings and the most delicious creamy dressing! A very generous amount too! I want to bring all my friends to experience this fun place!

I was there last week for brunch and coffee. I found the food and coffee very good and average priced. The atmosphere is very cute and warm. Love the seats on the deck! Hoping they may decide to extend their hours for coffee and maybe desserts. Great place to meet friends! Will be going soon!

North Main Cafe has the best Veggie Wrap! White or Tomatoes Basil wrap with leafy greens, fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, feta cheese, and dressing! Bubble Tea (Green-Tea base) with Peach flavoring and Mango Bubbles has a burst of sweet fruit refreshment! This Cafe has an amazing staff! No matter how busy, the hard-working staff moves customer orders and service with efficient pace and impeccable accuracy. Whether dining-in to enjoy the clean, French-country atmosphere or taking-out for a bite at home, you will be back for more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm from out of town but have adult children who live in the MV area. When my son set his wedding date for the day before Easter and I realized I needed to make arrangements for a rehearsal dinner on Good Friday, I was at a loss as to how to make this happen. (My previous experience with North Main was to stop by this clean and cute little establishment for coffee during the morning/ early afternoon hours.) A conversation with my daughter about my dilemma led to a discovery that North Main is now open later and has expanded their menu beyond breakfast options. Awesome news!
Long story short, the new owner, Wendel took care of us! He gave us options that were reasonably priced. We had a wonderful dinner around a large table with delicious food. The staff was clean and courteous and they packaged up our leftovers for us to take (and eat on the run during a busy wedding day! ) Our family was once again extremely impressed and pleased with our service. We highly recommend!
I never post reviews after only trying a place once but the food was so good! I ordered through doordash, who delivered very quickly, so the spicy bacon burger was steaming hot and super delicious and the frozen mochas were still ice cold. I really appreciate the pickle spears being bagged individually so that the other food didn't get soggy. Everything was labeled and made correctly. Idk why we've never tried this place before but we'll definitely be ordering again and again.
This is a cute place with good food. Loosen up your purse strings before walking in, it's not cheap.
The servers are new and need to get some experience so not to constantly reach in front of customers, that comes in time.

Just lost my mind! Found this place because another breakfast place we were gonna go to was closed! This place was phenomenal the portions are excellent the prices are very fair service was fantastic the restaurant is well decorated and very clean I highly recommend a breakfast adventure at this location
Best Café in the Vern! Love everything! My fave is the kale salad, and my hubby loves the CBR! 🤩 I could eat here every day! (but they're closed Sunday/Monday😉) Also recommend the turtle coffee as a frappe!
