3 amazing words - wood-fired pizza. In this case @amatoswoodfiredpizza in Delaware Ohio. I ordered a small with mozzarella, onion, green pepper, sausage, pepperoni. A wonderfully thin crust, crispy with all fresh toppings. Definitely a great pizza.

Oh Amato's...How things have changed. Super thin crust, lightly crisp on outside inch, but floppy like a noodle on rest. The crust and cheese had very little flavor. The sauce was very Chef Boyardee 'ish'. The pepperoni was decent but wasn't much of it. Disappointed!

I absolutely love their pizza and have ordered it many times from the Delaware of location. This was the 1st time getting it from Mount Vernon . Unfortunately all 3 pizzas had notable spots that were burnt (see the pic). Thankfully upon contacting the manager they acknowledged there had been an issu

Typical Ohio style pizza. Great if you like that. I grew up on New York style. As a transplant, I prefer Papa Johns and Dominos. The wait staff was friendly and very good. I would recommend it if you like the local pizza.

Fast service, great pizza, inexpensive. Loved the 22 craft beers on tap. Excellent happy hour!

Service was good. Food was alright. I guess we expected something a bit more out of the ordinary but... Iced tea was good. We couldn't figure out why people were waiting to get a table.

Great pizza!!!! We had two families who shared a meatball appetizer, garlic/cheese bread & bruschetta bread. So fabulous!! Grandpa loved his Italian sausage sandwich as well. Pretty much ordered a wide variety off their menu and enjoyed it all. Definitely will come here again. ❤️
