Enjoyed lunch here again. Gyros are delicious. Loaded with meat! Understand the menu is limited. Gyros and fries. And it's cash only, so keep that in mind. But if you want a good gyro. Jimmie James blue goose is the place!

This place is off the charts good, if sort of humble looking on the outside. Admittedly not a big menu - but the gyros amazing and generous, the baklava is amazing, the greek salad is the best Ive had out of a styrofoam cup ( seriously healthy chunks of feta, olives and right amount of dressing) and

I literally make the 30 minute drive to Mt Vernon for this place. So good! one of my daughters takes one of the feta slabs from my salad to crumble on her gyro. to avoid fights i buy everyone a baklava. This place is so so good in downtown Mt Vernon.

If you like Gyros Jimmie James is THE PLACE! They only do one thing but they do it well. Why would you want to pay close to the same $ for that cheap imitation down the road at that roast beef place?

Friends at work have been bugging me to try this local place for lunch but I never have a cash (cash only I'm afraid). Finally did the other day and my goodness was it delicious! Very generous slices of Gyro meat with yumy sauce and vegetables... Definitely hit the spot! Will be back!

This is a very good small sandwich shop. They sell Gyros, fries and a traditional Greek salad. They also have Baklava if they haven't sold out. Well worth the side trip off the interstate. Dine in or carry out.
