It is a nice cozy place, delicious food, and food it is 2 places in one location one for lunch and Watermelon Mills for coffee, if you are going for just coffee make sure to tell the guys because sitting is different
Found this place while looking for coffee. Amazing medium size restaurant in Mount Vernon. I am so glad to take a detour. Because we still had a long drive home we didn’t want to eat anything heavy but still ordered the soup of the day (black bean soup) and buffalo chicken wings. Really good and really glad to stop. Next time I will definitely try both bistro items and regular menu.. see you soon. Thank you!

A friend took me here the other day and I fell in love immediately. It's a super cute coffee shop and the drinks are great! I really like the matcha latte.
Fantastic experience. The coffee is fabulous, and the decor is stylish yet still inviting. The spot used to be a barber shop, and the owner still has a barber chair in the corner. The southern spice latte is to die for, though the salted caramel latte wasn't quite as good. But whatever you do, don't order almond milk (if you can help it): the whole cow's milk that they use comes fresh from a local Texas dairy and is unparalleled. I'll definitely be back! It's worth the quick 7-minute detour when traveling on I-30.
The coffee is ok. My issue came when I was given a gift card for my birthday by my yoga students. It was accidentally thrown out before I got to use it. We went in to explain the situation, knowing the name and date and time of the original transaction. We were told a shift leader needed to do it and to come back tomorrow. That gentleman was extremely polite and helpful. The next day we went in and it was totally different experience. We were treated like a nuisance or like we were trying to scam the store out of a measly $25. It was embarassing. I will drive 15 miles out of my way or drink truck stop coffee before I find myself willing to go here again.
Edit: a replacement gift card was dropped off at the gym where I work. I changed the review to reflect this effort accordingly

Great ambiance right on the corner of the down town square of a small town. Very relaxing place to sit over coffee and enough going on to watch. Very friendly if they are not busy making coffee. Varied menu choices also.
