Oh my gosh! The pulled pork here is divine! The best I've ever had! The fried cheese and mushroom appetizers were great. Just in town for business, but I'll be back when back in town!
Good food. Worth the drive out from Evansville. For those that like their meat sauced when it comes out, this place will do. They have several sauces to choose from. Large portions and quick and friendly service. The prices are reasonable. For those that don't want their meat sauced on arrival, I'd check with the server to see what they can do. I think they do a decent job with smoking. The ribs and chicken were tasty and properly done. The close slaw was crisp, not too sweet. I enjoyed the hashbrowns casserole. Everyone else's sides were good. No complaints from our party. There is a decent selection of drinks, but not a ton on tap. This is one of the better bbq places in the E'ville area, in my opinion. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music on occasion. Onion rings and Ida fries/chips are a nice appetizer. I preferred the chips myself but all was good. I added the menus to my review. We're in town visiting family and this was a great little place. The staff was so friendly and the food was brought out timely. It was delicious and the presentation was great. Also very kid friendly we have a 3yr old and our daughter is 10 with autism so she can get a little loud. But everyone seemed understanding. Definitely recommend !!
What a cool Lil place in Mount Vernon Indiana!! The food was spectacular!! If you're looking for smoky meats and tasty BBQ. Then Hawg & Sauce is your go to Hotspot. I got the pulled chicken, white meat with mashed potatoes. It was tender and juicy. I saw that they have live music on the weekends. So they already get a thumbs up for me for supporting local music. 5 stars all day!! 🌠🌠🌠🌠ðŸŒ
What a nice local BBQ-Restaurant. Quiant facility, nice stuff, food cames fast….and one of the best brisket I ever had
They have a nice simple menu that makes it easy for you to find what you want. Food is very very delicious. I personally know eberything I have ever ordered there was cooked perfeft and taste amazing. This place is the real deal. Only thing some items cost way to much for the amount you get, such as the Bliss ice cream. It is number 1 as best places for barbeque!
This place is incredible! The chips and pork could have been a meal on their own. The chips were cooked to perfection. Boneless wings were some of the best around. Fish sandwich was breaded just right and the portion size was nothing to complain about.
