Party of two for lunch. Promptly greeted by the owner who offered up their buffet or menu. We both chose menu because we wanted BBQ. The ribs had a great smoked flavor and the sauce was sweet and smokey. We had greens, baked beans, and cole slaw between us and the sides were good. Great atmosphere combined with a super friendly staff makes this the place to go anytime you are in the area and need to get your BBQ on. From the looks of things this place rocks on into the night as there is a sports bar adjoining the restaurant. Will stop by again next time I'm in the area.
Love it. My family and i eat at this place some time 3 times a week we love the food, the rib are great. when u meet the owner,she great you can tell shes shy an dont like to be on front street. the twice baked potatoes are a hit,try them once ur there its as if you stepped into a upscale restaurant in the city.

You know its just hometown barbeque and wings and other great food. The bar is separate from dining in. So if your family isn't into bar stuff its safe. But if your an adult getting off from work or wanna just take someone for good music and a cool dark place with a good bartender you will be at home whatever race. It's Mt. Vernon at its best. Clean food and I love Anna the greeter!!!
Good eats, if a bit slow. Food is awesome, home made, and I've never had anything that wasn't delicious. Service can be a bit slow at times but what can you expect when everything is made fresh to order. Make sure you ask for T as your waitress. She's the best!!!!!
Really gonna miss this place (eatery) it's closed.....had great food!!!!!!

GRRREAT environment and attentive wait staff. Food was obviously prepared by a quality of person NOT found just anywhere. I look forward to my need lunch here.
