Terrific, homely and authentic breakfast and brunch options either on the way to or back from volcano National Park... Or if you find the handful of cafes in Volcano aren't open for breakfast and you're ok with a 20 minute jaunt down the road. The burgers are outstanding, moco loco was authentic and tasty, coffee is free flowing... It's good value and as local as you can imagine. Nothing fancy, but friendly and good.

Let me tell you about this fantastic restaurant I stumbled upon. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt this relaxed and inviting atmosphere that was super enjoyable. The menu was a delightful surprise, offering a diverse range of dishes that were prepared with such skill and creativity. The flavors were on point, hitting all the right notes and leaving me wanting more. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Huge portions, too! Best meal we have had on the big island! Thank you!

The seating at this restaurant was nice and open out on a covered porch. Unfortunately they had no way to wash dishes so they served everything in to-go containers. But that saved time at the end for leftovers. I had the Caprice hamburger. Absolutely delicious! The appetizers of prawns & mozzarella sticks were excellent.

We left with dimple cheeks after dining here! Food was so fresh and immaculate! We were there during prime rib night and it was seriously hands down BEST prime rib ever! Be sure to make a reservation if possible. They had lines waiting out the door around dinner time. People wishing they had reservations.

Good food and nice place to hang out and grab a bite before you head to town. There juices n smoothies were great. Fish and chips n salad dressing was very refreshing. Giving a less star as the service took forever. Seems they were short staffed and one staff was néw. They tried n we left happy, just spent 1.25 hr for a lunch that could be quick 30 mins. Well we were in no rush, had no where to be and it was peace and tranquil so we enjoyed our time. Definitely stop by if you are close by for there freshly made smoothies- I enjoyed turmeric ginger drink. Love it actually.

Best meal I've had in Hawaii. This is a place where pretty much everything is home made. Huge portions. Friendly staff. Great laid back vibe. Highly recommended stopping point on your way back from Volcano Park to replace some calories. Enjoy

Ordered take out after a long day at work, got home and found a minor mistake with the order (I misunderstood the new menu). They were so kind, prompt and attentive in fixing it - even though it was my bad. My son loves their Korean Chicken wings, and was SO happy to receive his order.

My 2nd visit was every bit as wonderful as the first! Updated to add how much I enjoyed returning. I honestly can't decide which I love more, the delicious food or the friendly and cheerful service here. This time, it was a prime rib and salmon special with mashed potatoes and veggies, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! We once again stopped in the market in the back as well and picked up a few items there as well. If you haven't been to this place yet, you need to check them out. Well worth the short 10 minute wait for dinner. In fact, we popped into the little market behind the Cafe to grab a few items we had planned to stop to get on the way home and saved us a stop while we waited. The parking area is a little small if busy, but we were still able to get a spot. My hamburger was cooked exactly how I wanted and super juicy, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the tomatoes were ripe and very tasty, and the bread toasted perfectly. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken with a jalapeño corn gravy. The chicken was nice and crispy and flavorful. The gravy was not spicy, but had a good amount of jalapeño taste to it with whole kernels of corn. The atmosphere was great. We ate out in the partially enclosed patio, and it was lovely. The service was even better! Super friendly, welcoming, and readily available for anything we needed. Definitely a great place to stop.

We went to dimple cheek for dinner while we were on our honeymoon in Mountain View and had a great experience. The service was so great- fast and super friendly! I got the seafood risotto and hurricane fries and both were incredible. The smoothie was also so good. I would highly recommend!

Wow, wow, wow! This place was DELICIOUS! My husband and I visited for a late lunch, around 2pm after visiting the volcano park, and we were so glad we did. We got the fried cheese for our appetizer and we were just blown away at the quality, presentation, flavor, and how quickly it got to us. You can definitely tell they put a lot of effort into their food and their service was great! Our waitress was very polite and attentive and worked quickly to help all the tables. I was a little bummed they were out of smoothies, but our waitress said they sold them all early morning so they must be really good! We will definitely return back for more delicious food.

Very good and tasty food, great porch to relax on. What shocked me a bit are the new prices - we looked at last year’s menu online before we came, but they went up over 50% for many items - this is much more than we saw anywhere else on the islands. Still, business is humming…

Quite a nice Cafe on the way to Volcano National Park. I enjoyed 2-egg breakfast and coffee was also tasty. Service is good, friendly and relatively fast. Prices might seem quite high but fair considering the location etc. Breakfast for 2 will cost you about $50. A few parking slots are available on site. Nice terrace for outdoor dining is present as well as indoor dining space.
