Sushi dinner, special sushi set, and regular chirash were so good. And the Tonkatsu with curry was perfect for toddlers. BUT , the service of server was ..... not so great. I think it is just for us because the other server who serves right next table looked very nice to customers. The draft beer was very crisp and had a great taste though.

It’s a pretty authentic japanese sushi place. Th fish sashimi are super fresh and delicious. Tamakoyaki is seeet and tasty. You definitely want to try Omakase sushi set first time visiting. There is a big parking lot in front of the store. We came at Sunday night and basically just wait for 10min.

Very fine sushi. The sushi they give is a good amount it's not super small. Also this place is full of Asians so you know it's great. The business doesn't have a sign so it's hard to see but the map is right on so trust it's there.

This place is super busy a lot of the time and in a tucked away location on Castro but definitely worth the visit! Good: Service is super fast, we got our miso soup and salads a few minutes after we ordered. The pork katsu curry is really good too - it came out quickly and wasn't on the dinner menu but it was available to order. Definitely very tasty curry - maybe too much rice:meat ratio, but I still felt the portion sizes and value was good for the price. Their takoyaki was good too - pretty standard but always savory and tasty in my opinion. Bad: Definitely less of a fancy place, more casual and the food quality isn't the best I've had in terms of Japanese restaurants, but I still thought the food was good for the price. Overall would come again! They have a huge menu.

Cozy Japanese restaurant with decent food and good pricing. It was busy when we were there on weekday evening so I guess it would be busier on the weekend. We ordered Tonkatsu which came with a small bowl of soup and salad and some Sushi (salmon and unagi).

Came here on a Thursday for a quick lunch! Your whole party must be present to be seated. Plenty of parking at 11:30 since it's on the outer edge of downtown Mountain View. They get packed fast, so plan accordingly. What we got: - Super special chirashi - Sake don - Salmon avocado roll - Negihama roll - Salmon miso soup Oh my gosh I was SO HUNGRY. I've frequented the San Jose branch dozens of times, but this was my second time patronizing this location (first time for COVID take out). Everything came out quickly so we were in and out in less than 30 minutes! The salmon miso soup came out first as a complimentary item to the entrees. Never had this before, but it had plenty of veggies and salmon (with bones). I thought the soup was a little salty, so it wasn't my favorite. The rolls were great! The rice was slightly warm, just the way I like it and the fish was excellent. We gobbled these up before starting on the entrees. I almost always get the sake don from Tomi and it's never let me down. I think they serve a better rice to fish ratio here vs San Jose, but the thickness and quality of the salmon is about the same. I ALWAYS enjoy the last bite with the shiso leaf. 🤤 For a quick, reliable, and delicious weekday lunch, check out Tomi, but be sure to get there early!

Yes they have waiting lines, and yes they are often times too long but it is totally worth it. The fish is fresh and flavorful, their spicy tuna is one of my favorites and I can't get enough of them. Already looking forward for my next dinner there
