This is one of the best Indian places in the neighborhood. Their biryani is quite good. Their chicken chowmein is exactly what Indians mean by chowmein. And they have really good carrot halwa for dessert. Moreover, they make amazing chhole bhature. Family friendly and slightly slow service.
Lots of restaurants in Mountain View, but when it comes down to indian cuisine, this is a place to go. You can both buffet or sit and order (ala carte). I had lunch buffet and absolutely loved it. Good variety of starters as well as mains. The music can be better though.
But definitely gonna eat here again soon 😀
Economically good choice to have a Indian food. They also have non veg options. The buffet was good.
Should try if you are an Indian and frequent in need for full course.

Top notch food. As good a butter chicken as any I've had. Reminds me of Moti Mahal's butter chicken. Enjoyed the fish fry too. Among all the Indian buffet places I've sampled in bay area so far, this one best managed to recreate the essential flavors.
Gajar ka halwa was yummy too.
I had been to this place during my Business trip. You would find posters of famous Indian actors. The ambience gives a feel of Indian-ness. We ordered South Indian cuisine and it was up to the exception. Paisa wasool!!!!
Liked this place.. we ordered variety of food from North Indian to South Indian...everything was good. Liked their Wada Sambar and Veg dum briyani...
Their onion kulcha with paneer butter masala is also tasty...
Overall nice place with some nice indian food
I've been here twice - once for the a la carte and once for the buffet. Both the times the food was good. I think their dry chicken items are their best items. Even the biryani is quite good.
A major gripe about this place, like most Indian restaurants, is that it's really crowded & with very little space between tables. But for 11 bucks a plate for the buffet, it's really worth a visit.
One of the best Biryani place in south bay area. It is little bit of expensive side but food is awesome.
Vijaywada Biryani is a must to have here. It is finger licking good.
We have ordered hyderabadi biriyani ( which I never like as a Bengali), chicken momo, chicken tikka masala and mango lassi. All food were average except (unfortunately) mango lassi ( the cheapest and the best in bay area). Biriyani was below average and all food taste had a boring similarity.
Come here for chicken & veg momos. They have amazing biryani's and tikka masala's. In bread their garlic naan and tandoori rotis are great.Â
Their staff is really friendly and polite. I am sure you will enjoy the experience and food here. I will surely visit back for their lunch buffet soon :)
