Maru ichi is a Japanese Noodle restaurant on Castro street in Mountain View. With so many restaurants nearby, this place stands out. The noodles are home made by the worker in the front corner. They specialize in Kuro (Black) Ramen. They also have deep fried chicken for those not looking for noodles.
Very good Ramen, the Kuro was unlike any ramen I've tried before with the black broth. Great taste and balance of flavor. Look forward to my next visit!
Great fresh noodles. If you come at lunch be prepared to wait. A cash only establishment... They have an ATM. Just one thing... Bukakke noodles? Really? I've seen how they make that stuff. No thanks! Kidding of course.
This small hole in the wall find is well worth the trip. They make the noodles on site and have many options of favors and ingredients. I recommend thier soups even on a hot day. Enjoy!!
Awesome Ramen House. I was really craving some good ramen and urbanspoon took me to this restaurant! This Ramen house is really good...too good! The ramen is fresh and is made in house and all the ramen on their menu is superb! If you want to try something different you MUST try the KURA ramen! Kura ramen is what they're famous for and it's a good!
I wish I could always go there just to fill up on Toro-don and maybe an added bonus of their infamous Kuro ramen
