We decided to come here on a whim tonight and man are we glad we did. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was incredibly personable. You could see that they have many regular customers who she seemed to remember and even remember specific details. The food was on point! Everything we ordered was delicious. We got the Southwest egg rolls for a starter, they were perfectly cooked and delicious flavor. We then had our entree. I ordered the chicken parm over linguine. The sauce was incredibly flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the bbq half chicken and fries. Again cooked to perfection with such a unique flavor combo. Then for dessert we shared the banana brulee pie. This was unique and so tasty. We will without a doubt be back but next time we will make a reservation!
Amazing place having dinner!
The tuna wontons, mussels and little necked clams with tomato sauce were all incredibly delicious! The seasonal sangria and pumpkin soup were also outstanding, and the freshly baked bread made everything taste even better.
As locals, we knew about this place, but never found the right time to go. Now that we have, I wish we had tried it out sooner! The Mediterranean style calamari was fantastic, especially for Barrett Township expectations. We will have to get back here again soon. The entrance was a little confusing, and it felt like we were sitting in the dining room of somebody's house.
Food is consistently good! Service is always friendly and on point....great local place!!
We went for dinner before a movie Saturday. As usual everything was great and the staff was wonderful! The only problem is that they don’t have French onion or the pork chop with apples on the menu any longer…we really missed them lol also I’ve added the new menu!
Lived here over 20 years and never stopped in until recently for some reason. I've been missing out! Great food, great atmosphere and outstanding service. Will definitely be back. Would highly recommend!
While we stayed at Skytop Lodge we were desperate for a good worthwhile meal. We found Forks on Yelp and were amazed by our experience! The atmosphere is homey, cozy and warm. A fireplace or wood burning stove to add to the comfort depending on the dining area. Our waitress was delightful and friendly felt as if she was an old friend. The food was top notch, soup or salad and fresh HOT bread to start with your meal. I got the chicken pot pie and my husband got the Smokin’ Chipotle stew both of which were the definition of comfort food. We cannot speak highly enough of this gem. We will be back!
I enjoyed the atmosphere. I couldn't eat my chicken parm because it was so thick and dry. I ate the pasta. Sauce was good. Limited menu. Very slow service

Fantastic experience! We had the ravioli and filet mignon and both were absolutely delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Everything was excellent . Incredible mushroom bisque. Chicken parmigiana was delicious. The shellfish hot Tuscan oil was cooked perfectly. The sauce was so good I finished all the pasta and used the bread for the leftover sauce! The waitress was also friendly and lovely.
This place was a gem to find. Reservations are available, so take advantage of that, just in case. The food was on point with the prices. The food, of the food, was amazing.
We stopped here on vacation and was our best food stop. We immediately felt welcomed and service was outstanding. The food was delicious and had all the aspects of a home cooked meal. I might need to vacation here again just to stop by for a drink
Romantic, quiet, fabulous food, at a reasonable price, great ambiance, and good service. We will definitely come back. The chicken pot pie is to-die-for! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Hubby and I have been going to the Forks for a few years now and have always had a terrific meal. Thought it was time to write a review! Lauren is an excellent host and she makes awesome drinks! Amber, our usual requested server, and Shannon, are both friendly, attentive and excellent servers. Drunken clam appetizer - delicious, as well as the coconut shrimp. Last night I had the pork chop with bacon jam. Came with jasmine rice topped with Cuban black beans, and a side of fried plantains! Hubby had roasted salmon topped with crab meat. Both entrees were excellent. We got our soup to go, which was a sweet pea soup with crispy prosciutto - had it for lunch today - awesome!! If you haven’t tried the Forks, you’re missing out. Excellent restaurant in the Poconos!
Awesome food and atmosphere.. period. Their wasabi tuna wrap is a must have and their french fries just AMAZING! To all of those, especially the Eva's of the world with their negative reviews... they aren't even open on Tuesdays so... This place is a must try in the Poconos.

My 10-year-old daughter are foodies and have been travelling a distance (1-2 hours one way often) to check out restaurants that are well rated and providing outside service. We like to order multiple dishes and them split them to create an ad-hoc tasting menu so we can really check out a place. All as a way to maintain our sanity during the Corona virus.
She and I ate here on the last night of a brief excursion into the area. We did quite a bit of research on restaurants in the area and were grateful to have found this place. The food was FANTASTIC. Service was friendly and attentive. We started with the soup-of-the-day, a New England clam chowder, which was frankly the best I've had in my life (and I grew up near the ocean in Rhode Island). Then followed by a great salad of mixed baby greens, blueberries, strawberries, walnuts, with a very nice (not to sweet) poppy-seed vinaigrette (their house dressing if I remember correctly), and then followed by the lobster ravioli (which again was one of the best I've had.) We ordered some Clam Chowder to go as well.
OVERALL... great food with a really good vibe... the type of place you just feel good all over when you've finished your meal. Strongly recommend.
