The Daily Bread Bakeshop - Mountainhome - Photo album

The bagels, muffins, cookies, breads…basically anything I’ve tried has been out of this world. I’d easily put them up against any big named bakery in NY or NJ. I’m saddened to not live closer, but a relative does and I always beg her to stop and get some treats if she comes to visit!
Delicious homemade breads and sweet treats. Beautiful cakes made with love.
I went in for the first time today and bought a candied bacon croissant. Yeah, it was as good as it sounds. Wow. No picture cuz I ate it without pause- no pics, no breathing…so delicious!
Lovely quaint bakery! My first time today and it is a lovely shop. Delightful bakery goods that include fresh baked bread loaves, bagels ( they went quickly!), fresh fruit pies ( peach and blueberry were offered today), coffee cakes, muffins, cookies, and biscotti. The sour cream coffee cake muffin
The Mountainhome Bakery is the Best !!! Always there at least twice a week for their delicious Muffins, Crumb Cake, Apple Cake, well everything is so fresh and tasty. The Muffins out of this world…wow!!! If you haven’t been you must try…. You will love this Bakery!!!
Basically, everything here is really good!!! Cakes are so flavorful. Come early on Sunday to get the best cinnamon buns. We also really enjoy the butter leaf rolls. If with kids, follow up with a visit across the street to Callie's Candy Kitchen
Great food and great service..I always stop here when I'm in town. Traci is the sweetest baker you'll ever meet, her brownies and cupcakes are by far the best. Also must try her cranberry quick bread. The peasant bread is The best bread I've ever had. They make many different specialty "small batch
Cute store. Amazing blueberry crummy cake. Average coffee from Keurig. Definitely worth visiting.
The fresh baked bread was delicious with my bowl of chili. The cashier was very nice.
I bought chocolate chip cookies here and they were literally the best I have ever had. I’m from New York and I would drive 2.5 hours just to get them again. Great prices too!!!
Fresh and attractive breads, cookies, tortes, and specialties. The store is small, but absolutely clean and tidy. Peasant Bread is a whole grain loaf, $4.95. All baking is apparently done on the premises.
This authentic bakery has insanely good breads and bakeries. The steak rolls and peasant bread are to die for. Only open on weekends. A must stop by if traveling in the poconos. Always a favorite of mine in the area.
I don’t know how anyone could ever put this store below a 5 star rating, I love this place. You can’t go wrong with anything you buy from them
Probably the best bakery I have ever been to - chocolate croissants, bagels, Italian loaves, and brownies were ALL the best I have ever had ANYwHERE. I just wish they accepted on-line orders!!
The peasant bread is the best bread I've ever eaten, must try. Also very friendly here, so nice to visit a local family owner bakery!
Great bread. But now their serving fresh bagels that are AMAZING! I grew up on New York bagels, and now I've finally found a rival.
Amazing local bake shop. The staff is super nice And are will to bake anything for you in their ability. Limited hours are the main downside
Great bakery 👌
