Ararat - Mundelein - Photo album

In general, the food is good and delicious. We tried khachapuri, shashlik, and khinkali, which were all very tasty. The atmosphere is VERY cozy and homely. However, the prices are slightly on the higher side, and the portion sizes are a bit small.
I come here every time I’m in town for business. Sadly that’s only twice a year. No other restaurant around will see me as long as Ararat exists. The food is delicious and the service is awesome.
Imagine going to eat at some one’s house… it is a lot like that! Freshly home-made food that is comforting. The plates and forks are a throw back of my grandmas dishes but I loved it. It made me feel like we were special guests at a tea party. Service was slow and that’s why I took one star away, bu
Not being very familiar with Armenian food, I asked for some recommendations and was not disappointed. Everything was delicious. The woman even literally brought out all the desserts so I could pick one out. I felt uneasy at first, as I sometimes do, going into Eastern European establishments (I
Very good food and service. Things are slow as everything is made to order and the owners are willing to make you what you wish! Would go back to try more things
A pleasant time at this local restaurant. The food was very good overall. All the starters were solid except for one that I wasn’t a fan of. The host and waitress were very nice
One of the best restraunts in the Chicago suburbs area! The food was really good and delicious. Really loved the hospitality as well. I can say that its a hidden gem! Would love to visit again. The quantity was little bit less but that's ok, since the quality is off the charts... Great work guys!
This place is a little Armenia away from home. The food tastes amazing, from the yummy kebabs to the freshly baked bread. The staff was super nice and helped add a cozy vibe to our experience. Recommend!!!
This place is such a hidden gem. Excellent fresh food, you're treated like a king with such great service. My only problem is the prices arent exactly low, but it's a small business and I'm happy to support that. Best things we had were the beef and lamb kebabs, both Lula and cuts of meat. The pota
The dishes were very delicious, especially the lamb kabob, the soup chanahi. Their bread is really good too. Although, there is one con, their service is poor. We had an appointment made, the table wasn't ready, we weren't guided to a table, but were told where to sit with a careless tone. Within 45

We moved from Chicago to Mundelein this year and we are obsessed with Ararat. It’s hands down our favorite restaurant, including all the terrific restaurants we miss from the city. The food is truly outstanding, as is the company. The new decor is classy, clean and welcoming, although we also loved
Absolutely love the place. Have been eating there for years, food is always amazing! Service is very good too! Feel very comforting there, homey. So many different dishes to choose from! You won’t be disappointed with whatever you get.
Katchapuri is the cheesiest egg bread I've tasted. Georgian dishes here as well. Thanks to Anahit for half off groovy desserts 💜 #DivineFriendship #777adventures
