Bar Mom was awesome. She served up the beers quick. I Got the fish fry because a sign on the wall said best fish fry in lake county. I had my doubts, but after seeing the size of the fillet and tasting it, it might be the best in the county. Make sure you check out the 3 legged ceiling fan. Than
It's been here since 1922! Get your Irish on and Dive over to the Mill. Bangers are top notch and the fish is great. You want Irish whiskey; you go to the Mill.
Fun old bar with reasonable prices and friendly service.
Didn't try the food but loved the atmosphere. Great service from the bartender and reasonable prices.
Went to honor Justin at his celebration of life. It was a special honor to know Justin. He ran The Mill for 16 years, made people laugh, made people feel welcomed like it was home. Made the best corned beef sandwiches!! He will be deeply missed. I know The Mill staff will take after and be the be
Nice atmosphere. Good live music. They celebrated their 100th anniversary today
The good: - steel tip darts - not many of these around anymore - great Irish bar - great dive bar - live music The bad: - they added video gambling, which takes up half the darts area :(
Although, this place is not always hopping, I usually manage to enjoy myself. There's a cool clientele who where welcoming and friendly the first time I went in there. As the Irish say there is always good craic there. Pronounced, crack, that means good conversation. It's not a dive and it's not a d
Finally went to The Mill after driving by it for six months (moved to Wauconda in July, 2020). Although a limited Irish menu, the food was very good. The portions were huge. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere reflect its 100 year history. Well worth the trip!
Friends small birthday celebration was awesome. Nice staff with their own adorable and well behaved dog. Also nice locals who all had to come say hi to the pups and made other small talk. Great drinks and food too.
Great Irish Mill beers, Guinness and Harp. Awesome bartenders with a pub style atmosphere
My first visit was on Easter Sunday as I was passing through town. Very gracious friendly crowd who invited me to partake of a great dinner. Turned out to be a great day and I look forward to visit again on my next trip. Thank you
