Great food, it's not overcooked like other LJS I've been to in the past!
No longer there--just the Tacos. Our go-to drive-thru place during the pandemic. About 45 min drive to get there, but worth it for the delicious chicken planks and fries. Fast drive-thru service.
Sadly, they no longer have the Long John Silver's portion of the store. On to Sycamore!
Enough malt vinegar, and you won't feel as much shame for putting down all of that batter. The food did take awhile to make, but it tasted good. The wait was worth it I guess. That's probably the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.... We'll definitely go back

its been many moons since our last correspondence.
I over heard a lady refer to you as Mr Long John Silver. I corrected her promptly. you did not go to med school for 8 yrs to be called Mr.
further more I enjoyed the L6 here. highly recommend. two thumbs up. 5 stars. w
This is a fantastic LJS. Staff are polite, food was fast and good, and, if you have seen my post about the Downers Grove location posted on the KFC side, no Edgar! Well, if he did work here I'm sure he'd have more hours, the place was hoppin'. Well done LJS, well done.
Just give it a new nickname... Silver Bell .. ran for the border for some fish and chips. Have to admit, it was damn good. I normally get Taco Bell here but tried the Long John Silvers. Just add a pizza hut to complete it and I'll be even happier.
Food is always good at this location and I have never had an issue with my order here. Happy this one is close to my house.
Wow is the fish absolutely delicious. We've eaten there twice. Both times the cod fish was top grade young, tender, delicious.

Slow, but this was honestly the best fish and chips I've had since coming to the Midwest from Oregon. That should say something to all the fish places around and should also say something to the quality of this place.
best manager and customer service at long john silver..was little late and long john silver was closed..but the manager still didnt let me go and served me my meal..5-stars i wish i could give 10 stars..highly recommended
