I have eaten here 3 times now, and I've loved everything I've eaten. I enjoy the atmosphere, the staff is always very friendly and inviting. Incredible flavor in every bite, bacon wrapped dates were amazing, sushi, even their dinner rolls, and we'll be back many more times for years to come. I appreciate what they have brought to Downtown Murphy.

The food is so very good- well balanced & delicious! We had lunch & I highly recommend their pan fried chicken breast with roasted potatoes & spinach. Never had it so good! Even their iced tea was great! Compliments to this restaurant for the quality of their food & it is priced so well. I’ll be back very soon.
We had some great food today. I had the 9.99 soup and salad. The salad was fresh and tasty. They had 3 kinds of soup, I had the ginger chicken soup. Plenty of flavor and chicken. We also had the cherve appetizer which was awesome. My wife had the pork chop lunch which was flavorful. We finished off with the Creme brule , it was flavorful too. Awesome food.
We had a group of about 20 ladies having lunch today. The service was fantastic and the food very well presented. We had a great time eating, chatting and just catching up. Would definitely recommend a return visit. Nice place - nice people!!!

Wonderful gem of a place to dine in Murphy! Interesting menu, great craft cocktails...the peach pecan Manhattan is a must. The service was great and the owner was there and very hands on. Plus, you can make reservations on Yelp.
Friendly staff and people,we sat at the bar and our meal was GREAT........the atmosphere was like being in Pittsburgh where the bars are long and the lighting is low enjoying good conversation and no tv, but the sound of piano and beautiful soft singing.
Just a hidden gem tucked away in the mountains,my husband an I loved it!!!
We had the best time! Opted to get a lot of small plates and share! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Bistro 29!
This place is awesome. We were visiting from Florida and stopped by for dinner. The owner stopped by our table to make sure our food was good and the waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly.. the food was AmAzInG!! �� If you are ever in Murphy this restaurant needs to be one you visit. So good!!
Outstanding service and excellent dinner! Very impressed with selection, how quickly we were served and our three dinners were exceptional! The wait staff was on top of everything and extremely accommodating. A new gem in Murphy!

Always the best sushi! Eugene and Wayne are welcoming! I cannot say enough positive things about rest of staff... Jen, Sherry, Hedge, Nate and Sam run the best bar and beautiful Ashley always has a smile on her face. Thanks for sharing your awesome restaurant in Murphy!
Our lunch was delicious!!! So flavorful and cooked to perfection! Great atmosphere and customer service. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner!!!
As always, food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful. Nathan, our bartender, was attentive, and ready to pour when you needed a drink. The bar and dining area, offer a casual and relaxing venue.
Nathan was our server. Very knowledgeable of menu and offered a ‘secret menu item’ for my youngest daughter. The chef’s special was amazing.
Food was good, some better than others. Lamb was a bit over cooked with burned edges. Ribye was decent, but I expected more for the price.
Roasted duck breast was great though, as was the pork chop. Lobster mac and cheese was good as well.
Service was great.
This place is absolutely delicious. Anniversary with my wife and it was all perfect. The food was so yummy and fresh. The waitress said she had been there less than a week and she did a fantastic job. The drinks came a little slow but we didn’t mind it. 😁 all in all I would recommend! Thanks again.
My wife and I were in town for a funeral and were basically wandering around trying to figure out where to eat. We were looking through the window of a pub whose social media made it look dismal, and there was guy standing down the sidewalk a ways outside of another restaurant (Bistro 29) saying “Come on in. We’ll take care of you.”
We did.
And they did!
Bartender was super-personable and made good drinks, but the food was absolutely outstanding. My wife had their salmon offering and I had the blueberry glazed pork chop. Both were incredibly delicious. The pork chop was the best that I’d had in a very very long time. Cooked to perfection! The salmon was flaky and delicious, and their sides were perfect as well.
I know that they’ll be closing soon for remodeling BUT we will be back.

Four of us ate dinner at Bistro 29 on a Friday night. Surprisingly there was no wait. We were served promptly and drink orders taken. Two of us ordered house wine, a red and a white which proved to be good choices. We all ordered a different entree and there were no complaints about the food which was well presented. Service was good throughout and prices are mid range by 2023 standards, about $40 person. Highly recommended.
Best Dinner In Town!! My Husband and I are both culinary trained chefs in the area and this was the best dinner at a restaurant we have had in the whole town! I highly recommend it! Drinks are great, service is wonderful, and the food is phenomenal. #1 restaurant in Murphy!
Excellent experience at a fantastic value. First time. Ordered Tuna Poke, Cream of Asparagus soup & Sirloin with Wild Rice. All were delicious. Steal was a bit tough, but it was think and cooled perfectly. Poke was fresh with a delicious sauce blend. Soup was perfect temperature and consistency ... not too salty, not too bland.

You guys had me worried but this restaurant does NOT smell bad. In fact, the carpet looks new and all of it newly renovated. Escargot was a non traditional preparation w caramelized something in cast iron. Wife loved it and I enjoyed it but still prefer butter garlic bread. Service is slow but it's obvious that the just made it from scratch to order. All was delicious. Pricey but delivers quality high end food.
I came here in February visiting & I was really impressed with everything. The food was awesome and our waiter was patient and understanding. A nice place for a date.
Anniversary meal. A little pricey for every day. Food was good though they were out of a few items on the Tuesday we visited.
This is an amazing place. The food potions are great. And when it comes to the table it is hot. The sushi 🍣can be pricey. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is beautiful. It's a must place to see and eat at when you are passing through Murphy NC. Would eat there again.
All around a fantastic place to eat! We had the crispy brussels sprouts, scallop and mushroom risotto and half shell oysters. All were 10/10!
Good food. Excellent service. My snow crabs were very good and they give u all the tools you need. Wife said her lamb was excellent

Everyone enjoyed my Birthday dinner. Great service and it’s always nice to have everyone’s food come out at once instead of waiting. We like the choices on the new menu. A bit heavy on the salt at times, but really good otherwise.

Thank you Jorge for great service tonight. We all loved our meals as usual. The duck was exceptional and so was the tomato bisque.

The six of us really enjoyed our dinner after having my son’s wedding at our house. The food is so good that we’ll keep this on our list of favorites for sure. Great service and Dusty the manager is phenomenal! She made sure we were accommodated every step of the way. Such service is so much appreciated and rare to find.
Awesome dinners: Lamb Chops, Steak, Cobb Salad with Salmon, and Vegan Pasta. Server was good but stretched pretty thin, as it was extremely busy. Reservations suggested.
This restaurant is amazing- dishes are so delicious - they are comparable to what you get in 5star NYC restaurants- we had Kobo Wagyu and Sea Bass, which were superb- also the cocktails are top notch
