First time dining and no regrets. The Filet Migon was very tender, even at a medium temperature. Baby Back Ribs, meat just fell off the bones. Service was friendly, if the season is right sit on deck especially in evenings and enjoy the Murrells Inlet sites. Definitely a visit again our next trip to MB/MI area.
The smell of the wood fire calls to you. You think maybe I'll get the pizza but do yourself a favor....Get the filet. I've been to a lot is good steak places. This one has the best flavor. Perfect
Excellent dinner. Wood fired lobster was unique and delicious! Steaks and pizzas were great too. Everyone in our group loved their meals... Highly recommend.
Passed by many times. We finally stopped in and tried the place. Glad we did. Food was good and drinks were great. Price not that bad. Would go again.
Morgan, our waitress was awesome. Steaks were great and corn pudding amazing and they gave us the recipe.
We passed this joint during the day and decided to Google the place. Menu sounded pleasing and promising. We made reservations for that night and when we walked in the place smelled wonderful. Wood smoke and all. The decor was very nice too. A little dark but we could see. We were seated by the water and the view was great. My wife and I split two appetizers the roasted garlic and the strawberry jalapeño rubbed steak. Very good. We each got the 12oz Ribeye. Cooked to order (medium rare) done perfectly. Great smokey flavor and fire grilled to boot. The unsweetened tea was great and the sweet tea was good as well. Prices were fair for the area. Will go back and recommend to anyone who is looking for a good steakhouse.
I had the Italian marinated sirlion steak and it was very tender and loved the flavor. The mashed potatoes were good as always. Did not care for the salad bar it was not as fresh as could be the bread was cold and had to find it under cover took alway from the over all atmosphere of restaurant. Server was kind and service was fast. Clean and quiet.
Best Steaks on the Grand Strand. Steaks at Bovine's are in my opinion the best on the Grand Strand or at least the lower end.
Cooked to perfection everytime and the sides are great while they vary depending on whats in season.
For an appetizer, I strongly suggest starting with either the Clam Chowder or the Crab Cake. They certainly don't skimp on the clams unlike a lot of places and the Crab Cake is a very good Charleston Style as opposed to the more traditional Maryland Style.
It's a friendly environment and the decor is nice and warm. Beautiful view of the bay or I think they refer to it as an inlet.
Staff is very courteous and attentive.
Cost for dinner for two is on the high end for the area but you get what you pay for and the value is definately there.
A perennial favorite and it has not disappointed yet.
Corn pudding!. Beautiful inlet view. Very charming restaurant. With an above average salad bar, it begins a great meal. Wonderfully cooked salmon in a tangy BBQ sauce. I had never had it like that before, very nice. The baked potato was "there" but best of all, the CORN PUDDING! Will be back

Bovine's was by far my best eating experience in the Myrtle Beach area. From the exceptional service to the delectable food, I give Bovine's two thumbs up! Come for great prices on drinks between 4 & 7 every day.
Good appetizers and brick oven pizza. It's not your ideal brick oven crust but the service and atmosphere make it worth the trip. Plus it never hurts to look out the window and view the inlet.
The steak platters are great. The pizza is definitely mediocre. I've had better frozen pizza. The service was very good and the location is even better since it's off the main drag of Myrtle beach.
This was our second time at Bovines and it was once again a great experience! We started out with the dynamite shrimp which was delicious. Spicy but not to hot. Sauce was great and nice size shrimp! We then had the blackened shrimp Alfredo pizza and it was awesome! Next was the fried combo which had the nicest piece of founder , lots of fried oyster , fried shrimp and a super delicious deviled crab! Atmosphere was nice with a window seat with marsh view. Lastly our server was excellent! Unfortunately I cannot remember her name. We will be back again! PS I forgot to mention the cream corn!! To die for!
My husband and I were at the beach for the weekend celebrating my birthday, and we wanted some place to eat that would be comfortable, but with good food and drinks. A lot of the fancier restaurants had a long wait. We picked this place from reviews, and we were able to get right in and sit outside which was perfect. My husband said it was the best shrimp and grits he’s ever had. I had the steak salad. The steak was not amazing, but the salad was still very good. We split wings and a pizza as an appetizer and had plenty of leftovers to take back with us. It was a very pleasant experience with great food and we would go there again.
Couple of cocktails, Strawberry Daiquiri, Marsh Walk Margarita, Special Filet Marsala on a bed of Risotto, with fried peach cheesecake for desert, Filet, baked potato, green beans, Corn chowder. Happy Hour is only AT the bar $125 including tip
Recommend doing Marsh Walk
Beautiful view outside. Food was amazing. I ordered my steak well done and you could cut it with a fork. The waitress was on top of everything and the atmosphere was amazing
Husband and I tried Bovines tonight, and we had a great meal. He ordered the full rack of ribs (only down side: they do not offer a half rack option). Come with 2 sides he had it with mac n cheese and slaw. I had the meat lovers pizza minus sausage. And boy did we both have more than we could both eat. Sam was our server and she was very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our dinner on the patio on the waterfront. Very enjoyable time dinning and getting to listen to a live band on the back deck of the restaurant next door..
Excellent meal. My wife had grilled salmon, my son had blackened Mahi, and I had a burger. :) The fish was fresh and delicious (they said), my burger was ground fresh on-site from chuck and also delicious. I added a local IPA to compliment the burger. Not a cheap dinner but well worth it for the quality. We enjoyed it.
Shrimp and grits with a view! I like that this restaurant is in the less busy area of the Murrells Inlet boardwalk area.
The views were great. I definitely will be back next time I'm in town. It can be a bit pricy, so be prepared.
The starter freebie is yummy mini biscuits with blueberry butter. That was yummy! The shrimp and grits with sausage is a bit spicy but perfect for me!
If celebrating a birthday, they don't do anything but wish you a Happy Birthday ;-).
My husband and I were glad to see Bovines reopen. Every time we were in that area, we ordered to go, but this last time, we stopped in and enjoyed our meal. Beautiful restaurant with great views. Great food and great staff!
Bovines will always have a place in my heart. My son is allergic to eggs, and they went out their way to make him freshly breaded chicken just for him this never happens to us. The place has great food and amazing service, and they go out of their way to help. THANK YOU BOVINES
I liked this place. Really nice location with a beautiful view of the marshy inlet. We came here with a party of 6 close to opening time and received good service. I had the surf and turf and it was pretty good. Everything is grilled on a woodfired grill (see photos)
The space is unique. Has a mix between a log cabin and a beach hut feel. Tall ceilings and we sat in the room with the full bar. All tables are high top in that room.
There’s a photographer that goes around to each table offering to take a photo of the group free of charge. At the end of the meal you get a ‘postcard style’ photo with the option to buy various other versions. Interesting.
Overall nice experience.
We are always looking for a new place to try when we come to the beach. We had never been to Bovines but I’m glad we went. The only seafood I eat is flounder and their flounder platter was delicious! It was the best I have had in years! It came with two huge pieces. I usually clean my plate but I could only eat one and a half! My husband got the flounder and shrimp and he could only eat the shrimp. He took the flounder home because he said the shrimp was fresh and delicious! Our son got the filet steak and also said his was delicious. Our daughter got the kids pepperoni pizza but she didn’t like it. It is brick oven cooked and I think she just didn’t like that specific taste. We did receive complimentary rolls and she said they were the best she had had in a long time. Service was great! We got there a little after 4 and sat right down. We would definitely recommend Bovines!
First time at Bovines. Enjoyable, we had shrimp and grits and Mexican pizza, which were really good. We felt rushed, our entries came out rather quickly as we just started our appetizers. Outside of that, I would go back again. Give it a try you decide 🤔

My husband and I went there in July on a Thursday night. The host informed us that they were short staffed but to our surprise, we still received great service. We were seated outside at our request and the night was perfect for it, not too hot at all. The music was a little too loud but that was to be expected. Our server was great and helped us order since it was our first time dining there. They start out with hushpuppies and free shots! Someone also came around and offered balloon art but we declined since our kids weren't with us that evening. Our starter was Southwest eggrolls with avocado sauce which I recommend! The pork porterhouse was very tasty with a "smoked char" on the outside and brick oven pizza was delicious also. We shared a side salad which was not worth the up-charge for but overall a good dinner.
All in all ok. Pretty slow on a Saturday night. Whole our server was great, all the people helping her seemed to be a bit off. Food was ok. I had a Caeser salad. It had a lot of dressing on it. Was pretty good though.
Also got a pizza which was made in a general oven because for some reason they weren't using the brick oven, but it was still pretty good.
Had wings too. I thought they were pretty good for how they're cooked. Their blue cheese had a good taste but could have been more chunky.
I went here as a kid with my family ever year, and finally returned as an adult! The food was everything I remembered and more! The hush puppies were delicious! The ribs were phenomenal and the corn pudding was better than I remember!! The lobster was on point as well!! Wish I had the recipe for the corn pudding!!
Excellent time at Bovine’s.. We were informed that they were short staffed both with servers and in the kitchen, but that didn’t stop our party of six from deciding to eat there anyway. Well, the way Justin, our server, handled the situation made our whole experience terrific. Food and drinks were served in a timely manner, all excellent, and in spite of the fact that Justin was handling more tables then he normally would, he was polite and very attentive.
The picture below is for the owners. I am hoping that the lack of doors into the kitchen is just a last step of your renovations. The view of the trash bags, etc, was unsightly.
