Formerly Painter's Ice Cream, this is a very nice place for homemade ice cream, shakes, cakes, and more. Nice clean facility with friendly staff. Seating options available inside and outside, and ordering is also available at the outside walk-up window.
On Wednesday evening we decided to go to Painters for ice cream and found out the name changed. We were glad to find out the recipes were the same, so my husband got his fav which is black cherry and said it was the same and very good.
Amazing ice cream and I love that they have *multiple* vegan options!! As a person with lactose intolerance, it is hard to find dairy-free ice cream options, and I am super appreciative of their four options, which were all very tasty!
Best ice cream in the world. Hand made to perfection.... All staff are as sweet as the ice cream they serve. And they make amazing cakes too...
This is the best ices cream in the Myrtle Beach area and maybe all of South Carolina! Certainly the best I’ve ever had in my life. You will not be disappointed by any choice you make 😊 The staff is a bunch of the friendliest people

Stayed at Garden City Beach for four days and went here every four days at least once a day, sometimes twice. Yes the fact that it was convenient to our accommodations played a part. However, the staff was great and the ice cream was incredible. My daughter says the Barbie ice cream or whatever it’s called was on point. I had a float and a waffle cone among other things. All were good. Highly recommended.
If you are looking for good quality homemade ice cream, then you must stop here at Painter’s Homemade Ice Cream! They are the real deal! This is Fabulous homemade ice cream. Plenty of different flavors to choose from. There is even several Vegan choices. They have baked goods and an ice cream cake selection. Can eat inside with air conditioning or order outside and sit at tables on the side of building. Parking in front or on side of building. This is a great stop for those who like a quality ice cream!
Wonderful! Loved the Mud Monster (chocolate chocolate almond ice cream, brownies and hot fudge). Lots of everything. The brownie pieces were bite-size, not tiny bits. It was almost too much for one person! Enjoy!
Update July 2022: Painters is still an amazing bit of ice cream indulgence! The caramel confection with salted caramel ice cream, layers of caramel, and pretzels was worthy of a return trip the same week.

Lots of Peanut free flavors, most places only have vanilla as nut free! Our son appreciates a flavor finally!
Have tried the homemade banana pudding, coffee and butterfinger ice cream. O.M.G! Creamy but somehow light on the tummy. It’s not overly sweet and the flavor isn’t super overpowering. Somehow they have mastered the balance. The staff are extremely nice, patient and helpful. The soft serve is not homemade just what is in the case. Came because of a recommendation from a friend; stay because they really know how to make ice cream and smiles :)
