I wish I had pics...look, driving up it don't look like much...it looks plane Jane but....once in, staff was all over it! Reminds of a Waffle House a lot! I had breakfast! Ourselves was awesome and was ensuring she took good care of us. Coffee was good, food was tasty all though a lot and I will say it agsin....again.... friendly people here! I'd come back.

Great place for a no fuss HEARTY breakfast. If you get an orange juice they give you a huge glass. Can't go wrong with a omelette the chef doesn't skimp on filling it up

I can not say enough good about this place! It's by far the best greasy spoon I've had in a long time and one of the best ever! The cook has been working here since 1974. That just blew my mind. He is SUPER nice too.
I over heard one of the waitresses saying that she has been there for seventeen years and that the owners are a great family to work for. Says a lot in my book.
This place is not fancy at all but you'll get great Cafe style food!

Food is disgusting. Each time I tried something there I was disappointed. Chicken fried steak taste like burnt grease And biscuits and gravy was disgusting the biscuits weren't done and the gravy sucked

The service was a little lacking, but they were slammed with customers. The food was very good. I had the grits, eggs, sausage, and the biscuit & gravy. The coffee was okay. This place would be awesome with a little better tasting coffee.

We were running errands in town and decided to try a random place to eat. We wanted breakfast and this place had good reviews, plus it was local. I won't lie though... when we pulled into the parking lot, we almost left because the building is very worn down and old. However we didn't want to judge a book by its cover so we gave it a try.
All I can say is WOW! The food was great! There was an open kitchen and it appeared to be a crew of just 3 or 4 running the whole place. They did a great job - our drinks stayed full and the food came out piping hot. Everything tasted homemade and it really hit the spot. We had chicken fried steak and eggs! We will definitely be back next time we are in Muskogee.

Ordered take-out, the food was fantastic. Ordered the hamburger streak dinner & the pork chop dinner, and it was cooked great, was hot, and mashed potatoes were good also. There's nothing bad I can say!!

Ian and I were in Muskogee overnight, and this morning we didn’t like the look of the Hampton’s breakfast, so we hit up Hornback’s as it was very close. Ian got sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and hash browns. He liked all of it, but his only complaint was that the biscuit was so crumbly it needed a structural integrity field to hold it together. I had two eggs over easy, ham (and it was a huge slice of ham!), grits, and biscuit and gravy. The eggs were fine, the ham excellent, I think smoked, and very tasty. I liked the gravy in particular. The biscuit was somewhat crumbly but went well with the gravy.

Really like this old-fashioned diner! Great breakfast food all day. The grits are true southern style. Service is very good and the cherry cobbler is delicious.

Having had a lovely breakfast here previously, my husband and I decided to try them for dinner tonight. Service was excellent, like last time, and the burgers we both enjoyed were outstanding! Truly a local spot not to be missed!

Classic diner. Nice little spot where the locals hang out. Breakfast all day, standard burgers, blueplate lunches. The folks are friendly, the service is good and the prices are nice. I had a good chef's salad and coffee and everything else I saw looked good. Sure beats fast food!

Unbelievably good!. I was in town for only a few days and decided to try out this little diner. Wow was I suprised! I ordered a cheeseburger with tator tots and a sweet tea. What I got was pure heaven! The burger was so fresh and juicy, smothered in chopped onions and mayonnaise. The bun was fresh and the tator tots were cooked just right. A truly wonderful diner experience. Thanks to the cook once again!!
